Please come back to Mandalay again next year! နောက်နှစ်ကြ မန်းကို လာဦးကွယ်။

"Let’s meet again next year," he says.
နောက်နှစ်ခါလည်း ဆုံပါရစေတဲ့။

He says he wants to say goodbye because he’s heading back to Yangon. နှုတ်ဆက်ပါရစေတဲ့ .. ရန်ကုန်ပြန်တော့မယ်။

Here he comes again! ရောက်လာပြန်တယ်။

On the final night of the festival (A-tet Day),
the dancing and joy are at their peak.
သင်္ကြန်အတက်နေ့ ရဲ့ နောက်ဆုံးညမှာကွယ် .. ပျော်ပျော်ပါးပါး ကဟန် စုံပါတယ်။

မသိဘဲနဲ့ လက်ပြနေပါတယ်။ Without even knowing me, he’s waving his hand at me.

He’s always there, clapping and cheering us on. လက်ခုပ်လည်း .. အမြဲတီးကာ အားပေးပါတယ်။

He follows us to every pavilion (mandat) where I dance. တို့ .. ကတဲ့ .. မဏ္ဍပ်တိုင်းကို လိုက် ကြည့်သူရယ်။

Even though we don’t know each other, he keeps greeting me. မသိဘဲနဲ့ .. နှုတ်ဆက်နေပြန်တယ်။

Every time we meet, he smiles at me. It’s not easy to deal with him! လူကိုတွေ့ တိုင်း .. ပြုံး ပြုံး ပြ တယ်။ မ လွယ် ပါ တယ်။

His gaze makes my heart flutter. လူကိုကြည့်တဲ့ .. သူရဲ့ အကြည့် က ရင်ခုန်ပါတယ်။
