OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT IS HERE 🚨

MicUp! English Speaking Competition 2026 – Preliminary Round and Mini Mic! is Here! 🇲🇲✨

🏫 Mini Mic! is an internal School/Institution Competition to select up to three representative Champions per category to represent their School/Institution. However, all selected Champions must meet the minimum score set by the MicUp! Committee.

🏆 Mini Mic! Champions will enter the MicUp! Myanmar National Final directly and compete on stage against the other finalists unless a semi-final round is introduced, subject to the number of finalists.

📣 If you are school founders, principals, or school administrators and would like to implement Mini Mic! at your school or institution, kindly contact us for more information.

🎥 Preliminary Round is an individual competition. Register your participation and submit a video along with a speech script.

📌 How to Join:
1️⃣ Record a video of your speech
2️⃣ Prepare your speech script in Word format
3️⃣ Pay the registration fee via KBZ Pay (see instructions below)
4️⃣ Take a screenshot of the payment
5️⃣ Email all files to 📧 [email protected]

📌 Make sure your email includes:
✔ Full Name
✔ Date of Birth
✔ School Name
✔ Category (Junior: 10–15 yrs / Youth: 16–27 yrs)
✔ Phone Number

📌 Age will be determined as of 1st January 2025.

Please DO NOT include personal information (such as name, school, etc.) in the video or speech script file.

Beginning this year, all Gold+ Winners are eligible to participate in MicUp! again, as long as you were not among the Top 3 winners at the Thailand Regional Final in previous years.

📌 Mini Mic! Period
🗓 15th May – 10th July 2026

💵 Registration Fee:
30,000 MMK per participant

📝 Speech Script Word Count:
🔹 Junior Category – About 300 words
🔹 Youth Category – About 500 words

⏱ Video Duration Limit:
🔹 Junior Category – No longer than 3 minutes
🔹 Youth Category – No longer than 4 minutes

What began in Mawlamyine, echoed through Mandalay, and filled the halls of Yangon, has now reached its final stop at Snow Queen Private School Pyin Oo Lwin — the last Mini Mic! of the year, endorsed by the Mic Up! English Speaking Competition.

Along the way, we’ve seen shy voices grow bold, dreams take flight, and young speakers inspire everyone in the room.
