အကယ်၍ အလုပ်ခွင်ဝင်မယ်ဆိုရင် technician အနေနဲ့ အလုပ်များလျှောက်ထားနိုင်ပါတယ်ဗျ။

Community colleges တွေမှာ Articulation agreement တွေရှိကြပါတယ်။ Articulation agreement က ချိတ်ဆက်ထားတဲ့ကျောင်းတွေမှာ guarantee admission ပေးတာမျိုးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

တကယ်လို့ ဆက်ကိုယ်တက်ချင်တဲ့ကျောင်းက
ကိုယ့်တက်မယ့် community college နဲ့ agreement မရှိဘူးဆိုရင် general transfer အရ minimum requirements တွေကိုပြည့်မှီအောင် တက်ပြီးရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်ဗျ။

minimum requirements ပြည့်ပြီဆိုရင် transfer application တွေကိုတော့ freshman, sophomore, junior status အမျိုးမျိုးနဲ့ တင်လို့ရပါတယ်။ community college တွေဟာ 2 years college ဖြစ်တာမို့ sophomore အနေနဲ့ တင်တာဟာ အကောင်းဆုံးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Call for applications for the workshop"Empowering Emerging Scholars: Resource Decentralization, Social Inclusion, Environmental Justice and Climate Change in Transitional Myanmar" to be held at RCSD at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University from 21-25 February 2025.

The workshop is designed to enhance the research capacity of young emerging scholars from Myanmar and Southeast Asia, enabling them to critically analyze social transformations in Myanmar related to critical issues such as resources, the environment, and climate change. Emphasizing participatory research and the co-production of knowledge, the program seeks to foster a network of scholars and community researchers from Myanmar and SEA countries. Additionally, it promotes collaboration, networking, and the exchange of ideas, offering participants an opportunity to develop and present their new or ongoing research. The initiative

အဆင့်မြင့်ပညာရေးကို အခြေအနေအမျိုးမျိုးကြောင့် လက်လှမ်းမီဖို့ခက်ခဲနေတဲ့ လူငယ်တွေအတွက် accredited လည်းဖြစ် quality education ကိုလည်းရနိုင်ဖို့ Parami University က scholarship တွေကို need- blind admission policy အရ ကမ်းလှမ်းတာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

🤍Admission Timeline and Application Process

Parami ရဲ့ academic year ကတော့ Fall (Aug-Dec) နဲ့ Spring (February - May) ဆိုပြီး semester နှစ်ခု ရှိပါတယ်။ ပုံမှန်ဆို ကျောင်းဝင်ခွင့်တွေကို January လမှာ စတင်ခေါ်ယူလေ့ရှိပါတယ်။ ခုဆို နှစ်လည်းကုန်ပြီဆိုတော့ application ဖွင့်ဖို့ အချိန်လည်း သိပ်မလိုတော့ပါဘူး။ Round 1, 2,.., Rolling admission ဆိုပြီး fall semester မစခင်ထိ ခေါ်လေ့ရှိပေမယ့် early admission ကသာ ကိုယ့်အတွက် အခွင့်အရေးတွေ ပိုသေချာစေတာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Application အတွက် ပြင်ဆင်ထားရမှာတွေကတော့ -

✓Completed application form - ဒါကတော့ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ personal information, education background, financial information စတာတွေဖြည့်ရမယ့် ဖောင်ပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

✓Personal Statement - ဒါကတော့ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ academic or other interests တွေ ၊ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ volunteering or previous work ကရခဲ့တဲ့ ကိုယ့်ကို improve ဖြစ်လာစေတဲ့ experience တွေ skills တွေ ၊ အဲ့အတွေ့အကြုံတွေကနေ ကိုယ် learn လုပ်လာနိုင်ခဲ့တာတွေ ၊ ရှေ့ဆက်ပြီး ပညာဆက်လက် သင်ယူဖို့ motivate ဖြစ်နေတာတွေကို story တစ်ပုဒ်လို ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ရှုထောင့်ကနေ ရေးပြရတာမျိုးပါ။ CV form ကလို academic achievement တွေ စဉ်လိုက်ချရေးထားတာကို ပြန်ပြောခိုင်းတာမျိုးမဟုတ်လို့ သတိပြုစေချင်ပါတယ်။ စာလုံးရေကတော့ အများဆုံး 500 words ထိ သတ်မှတ်လေ့ရှိပါတယ်။

✓Supplementary Essay - ဒီဟာမှာတော့ ကိုယ့်ဘက်က ပြင်ထားလို့ရတဲ့ခေါင်းစဉ်တစ်ချို့ကတော့ program choice နဲ့ပတ်သက်တာမျိုး ၊ Diversity and Inclusivity နဲ့ပတ်သက်တာမျိုး ၊ Cross-cultural friendship နဲ့ပတ်သက်တာမျိုးတွေကို ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ experience နဲ့ values တွေနဲ့ယှဉ်ပြီး ရေးခိုင်းတာမျိုးတွေ ပြင်ဆင်ထားသင့်ပါတယ်။ စာလုံးရေ 300-500 words အတွင်း‌
သတ်မှတ်လေ့ရှိပါတယ်။

✓High school transcript or its equivalent - ဒါကတော့ မြန်မာပြည်မှာ ဆယ်တန်းစနစ်ဟောင်း နဲ့အောင်ခဲ့ပြီး တက္ကသိုလ် တစ်ဝက်တစ်ပျက်ဖြစ်ခဲ့တဲ့ သူတွေအတွက် အတော်လေး အဆင်ပြေတာပါ။ တကယ်လို့ ဆယ်တန်းအောင်လက်မှတ်တောင် မရှိခဲ့ဘူးဆိုရင်တော့ သူနဲ့ညီမျှတဲ့ GED စတဲ့ international certificate တွေကိုလည်းလက်ခံပါတယ်။ အဲ့တာတွေပါ မရှိဘူးဆိုရင်တော့ ကျောင်းက စစ်ဆေးတဲ့ Eng exam (Emmersion test) and Math exam (Wonderlic Basic Skills Tests, WBST) တို့ကို ဖြေဖို့လိုပါတယ်။

✓English proficiency test scores - ဒါကတော့ IELTS, TOEFL, Duolingo စတာတွေကို တောင်းပါတယ်။ အနည်းဆုံးတော့ CEFR level B2 or IELTS band score 6.5 ရှိထားရပါတယ်။ ဒီ လက်မှတ်တွေ မရှိဘူးဆိုရင်လည်း ကျောင်းက စစ်ဆေး‌တဲ့ Emmersion test ဖြေဆိုလို့ရပါတယ်။

✓Standardized test score or its equivalent (if any) - ဒါကတော့ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ academic performance ကိုပြချင်ရင် တခြား SAT scores တွေဘာတွေ ရှိရင် ထည့်ပေးလို့ရပါတယ် optional ပါ။

✓Contact information of two recommenders - ဒါကတော့ ကိုယ့်ကို recommendation letter ရေးပေးမယ့် ဆရာ ဒါမှမဟုတ် ကိုယ်အလုပ်လုပ်ခဲ့ဖူးတဲ့ အဖွဲ့အစည်းက ခေါင်းဆောင် တစ်ဦးဦးရဲ့ contact information ကို ထည့်ပေးရမှာပါ ဥပမာ email , ph no. စသဖြင့်ပါ။ ဒီနေရာမှာသတိထားရမှာက‌ ဘာလို့ contact info ပဲ တောင်းလဲဆို ကိုယ်တိုင် ဆရာတွေ ရေးပေးလိုက်တဲ့ RL ကို application form မှာ ထည့်ပေးရမှာ မဟုတ်ဘဲ ဆရာတွေက mail ကတစ်ဆင့် invitation ရပြီး application portal ထဲကနေ သူတို့ကိုယ်တိုင် ဝင် submit လုပ်ပေးရမှာမို့ပါ။ ကိုယ်ကတော့ ကိုယ့်အကြောင်း ဘာပြောလိုက်လဲ သိရမှာမဟုတ်တဲ့အတွက် ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ recommenders တွေနဲ့ သေချာလေး အဆက်အသွယ်ရှိထားဖို့ deadline ကို သတိပေးပေးဖို့တော့လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။

✓Study desk and Family Introduction Video - ဒါကတော့ ဒီနှစ်မှ အသစ်တိုးလာတဲ့ 2 mins စာလောက်ရှိမယ့် video presentation ပါ။ ဗီဒီယိုထဲမှာတော့ ကိုယ် စာသင်နှစ်တစ်လျှောက် အသုံးပြုဖို့ရည်ရွယ်ထားတဲ့ ကိုယ်စာလုပ်နေကျနေရာနဲ့ ၊ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ အုပ်ထိန်းသူ တစ်ယောက်ယောက်ကို Admission team နဲ့ မိတ်ဆက်ပေးရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

🤍Personal Sharing about Application Stage

အပေါ်ကတော့ application အတွက် ပြင်ဆင်ထားရမယ့်ဟာလေးတွေပါ။ အခုကတော့ Application တင်တဲ့အခါ လုပ်ရမယ့် အဆင့်ဆင့်ကို PowerPoint presentation နဲ့ ဥပမာ ပြပေးထားတာလေးထည့်ပေးချင်လို့ပါ။ ဒီထဲမှာတော့ ကိုယ်က eligible ဖြစ်မဖြစ် စစ်ဆေးပြီးတာနဲ့ Application portal မှာ register လုပ်ပြီးရင်တော့ application form တွေ ဆက်ဖြည့်ရမှာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီထဲမှာ အပေါ်ကပြင်ဆင်ထားရမယ့်ဟာတွေကို ထည့်ပေးရမယ့်နေရာကတော့ ခေါင်းစဉ်အလိုက်ကွာသွားမှာပဲရှိပါတယ်။

🤍How to prepare for the Interview Stage

✓ ကိုယ်ရဲ့ application က passed ဖြစ်သွားကြောင်း email ရပြီးရင်တော့ interview အတွက် ရက်ပါ တွဲပါပါလိမ့်မယ်။ အဲ့မတိုင်ခင်တည်းက ပြင်ဆင်ထားဖို့အကြံပြုပါတယ်။ ကြားထဲမှာ ကိုယ် application မှာ ဖြည့်ခဲ့တဲ့ information တွေကို ‌ကိုယ်တိုင်သေချာပြန် review လုပ်ထားဖို့အရေးကြီးပါတယ်။ ပြီးတော့ ကျောင်းနဲ့ပတ်သက်တဲ့ ကိုယ်စိတ်ဝင်စားတဲ့ မေဂျာနဲ့ ကိုယ်သွားချင်တဲ့ career လမ်းကြောင်းတွေအကြောင်းကိုလည်း Uni website ထဲမှ သေချာလေး research လုပ်ထားဖို့ အကြုံပြုပါတယ်။ ဒါတွေနဲ့ပတ်သက်ပြီး ဘာလို့ရွေးချယ်တာလဲ ဘာလို့ ကိုယ်က ရွေးချယ်ခံရသင့်တာလဲဆိုတဲ့ မေးခွန်းတွေအတွက် ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ application info တွေအတိုင်း reason ပေးနိုင်ဖို့ပြင်ဆင်ထားသင့်ပါတယ်။ ဒီနေရာမှာလည်း ကိုယ်က ဘာပေးနိုင်လဲ ဆိုတာနဲ့ ကိုယ်ဘာတွေသင်ယူနိုင်မှာလဲဆိုတဲ့ ကြားမှာ ဘက်မျှအောင်ဖြေနိုင်ရင် ပိုကောင်းပါတယ်။ တအားကြီးတုပပြီး ပြည့်စုံနေအောင်လုပ်ယူ‌နေတာထက် authentic ဖြစ်တာက ကိုယ့်ကို stand out ဖြစ်စေမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ interviewer က admission and financial aid committee မှ သုံးယောက်ကနေ ငါးယောက်ထိ ရှိတတ်လို့ သူ့အပိုင်းနဲ့သူမေးတာတွေက ကွာခြားပါတယ်။ အဓိကကတော့ ကိုယ်ဖြည့်ခဲ့တဲ့ application form ကအချက်အလက်တွေနဲ့ ကျောင်းwebsite ကို သေချာ research လုပ်ထားဖို့ကိုတော့အကြံပြုချင်တာပါ။

✓ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ financial situation ကို approve လုပ်ပေးနိုင်မယ့် ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ ဆရာ၊ ဆရာမ ၊ အုပ်ထိန်းသူတစ်ယောက်ယောက်နဲ့လည်း phone interview လည်းရှိတဲ့အတွက် ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ဆရာ ၊ ဆရာမတွေနဲ့ အဆက်အသွယ်မပြတ်သွားဖို့နဲ့ ကျောင်းဘက်က ဆက်သွယ်လာတာလေး စောင့်ကြည့်ထားပေးဖို့ ကိုယ့်ဘက်က အကူအညီတောင်းရမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ application အောင်လာခဲ့တဲ့ အဆင့်တွေနဲ့ updates တွေကို အမြဲ အကြောင်းကြားပေးဖို့ကို အကြံပြုပါတယ်။

✓ Online University ဆိုပေမယ့် သင်ခန်းစာတွေကို website ကနေ တစ်ယောက်တည်း self- study လုပ်နေရတာမျိူးမဟုတ်ဘဲ professor တွေနဲ့ တိုက်ရိုက် face to face သင်ယူရတဲ့အတွက် consistency ရှိလို့ တော်တော်လေးအဆင်ပြေပါတယ်။ assignments တွေအတွက်လည်း ကိုယ့်ရဲ့အခက်အခဲတွေကို ဆွေးနွေးတိုင်ပင်လို့ရနိုင်တဲ့ academic advisor တွေ Language and Learning Center စသဖြင့် ထားပေးထားလို့ one-on-one session ယူပြီး သေချာလေး လမ်းညွှန်မှု ရနိုင်တာမျိုးပါ။ Learning resources တွေရယူနိုင်ဖို့လည်း e-library ကို ကျောင်းသားတိုင်းအတွက်ထောက်ပံ့ပေးထားသလို တစ်ဖက်မှာလည်း tech ပိုင်းဆိုင်ရာ အခက်အခဲတွေကို ကူညီဖြေရှင်းပေးမယ့် Ed tech team က အဆင်သင့်ရှိပေးနေတာပါ။
