25 August – Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day
Today, we remember the lives lost and the families shattered by the violence against the Rohingya.
On 25 August 2017, a devastating campaign of violence forced hundreds of thousands of Rohingya to flee their homes in Arakan (Rakhine State), Myanmar. Years later, the pain of displacement and loss remains deeply felt.
We remember the victims.
We honor the survivors.
We remember our homeland.
And we continue to call for truth, justice, dignity, and a safe and peaceful future for the Rohingya.
Never Forget. Never Again. Justice for Rohingya.
