Non-metals share electrons to have complete electrons at their outer shells like noble gas.

Ionic Bonding
🔹Metals lose electrons to be stable. After losing electrons, they become positive charged ions.
🔹Non-metals gain electrons to be stable. After gaining extra electrons, they become negative charged ions.
🔹 There is electrostatic force of attraction between positive charged ions and negative charged ions.
🔹This strong attraction force creates Ionic Bond.
🔹This electrostatic attraction force is really strong.
🔹Lots of energy is needed to break these strong attraction forces.
🔹So that, ionic compounds have high melting and boiling points.

What are noble gases?
🔹Noble gas တွေဟာ သူတို့ရဲ့ Outer Shell မှာ Electrons တွေအပြည့်ရှိတယ်။
🔹Octet Rule အတိုင်းဆိုရရင် outer shell မှာ full electrons ရှိရင် သူတို့က stable ဖြစ်ကြတယ်။
🔹They don’t have tendency to gain, lose or share electrons to be stable.
🔹သူတို့က သူများနဲ့ react မလုပ်ချင်တဲ့ ခပ်ချေချေကောင်တွေပေါ့
🔹ဒါကြောင့် သူတို့ကို Inert Gas တွေလို့ နာမည်ပေးခံလိုက်ကြရတယ်။
🔹မိုးပျံပူပေါင်းက ဘာလို့ မိုးပေါ်ပျံတက်ရတာလဲဆိုတော့ Helium ကြောင့်ပေါ့။ Helium က လေထက်ကို ပိုပေါ့တယ်လေ။ ဒါကြောင့် density ရဲ့သဘောတရားအရ အပေါ်တက်သွားရတာပေါ့
🔹လမ်းဘေးက ကြော်ငြာဆိုင်းဘုတ်တွေထဲက Neon light တွေကိုတော့ လူတိုင်းသိကြမယ်ထင်တယ်နော် 🤭
