ESL Speaking Test

ESL Skill တစ်ခုချင်းကို Modular တစ်ခု အနေနဲ့ စစ်ဆေးတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ESL Listening Question paper ဖတ်ချိန်က ( ၅) မိနစ်ရမှာ ဖြစ်ပြီး အဲဒီ ( ၅)မိနစ်မှာ Question No 1 to 11 တွေရဲ့ Topic Title တွေ နဲ့ Multiple-Choice Question – MCQ, Complete Sentence, Closed-type Sentences တွေရဲ့ Question paper တွေက Key words တွေကို ဖတ်ကြည့်ထားဖို့ လိုပါတယ်။
ESL listening ဖြေဆိုချိန် မိနစ် (40) ရမှာ ဖြစ်ပြီး စုစုပေါင်း အမှတ် (၅၀) ဖို့ဖြေဆိုရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Listening မှာ Dialogue- conversation between two or more people) နဲ့ Monologue - person’s thoughts, feelings, or experiences, တွေကို ပြောတဲ့ Recording တွေ၊ Voice Message, presentation, podcast, တွေကို နားထောင်ရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ESL Listening မှာ ကျောင်းသား/သူတွေအတွက် ရင်ဆိုင်ရမယ့် အခက်အခဲ့တစ်ခုကတော့ Question No. 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 to 11 မှာ ပါဝင်လာမယ့် “You do not need to write in full sentences.” ဆိုတဲ့ Sentence တစ်ခုချင်းစီဖြေတဲ့အခါ Full sentence ဖြေလို့မရပါဘူး။ အဓိက Key point –( words or Phrases ) တွေကို ချရေးရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဉပမာ- The street is crowded. / or The cuisine is delicious. လို့ Speaker က ပြောရင် ........Crowed street, delicious cuisine လို့ ရေးရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ESL Speaking တွေက semi-formal and formal tone တွေနဲ့ ပြောကြမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ESL Reading Test

ESL Reading Test ကလည်း အမှတ် (၅၀) ဖို့ဖြစ်ပြီး ဖြေဆိုချိန် (၁) နာရီ ရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ESL Reading Question 1 to 13 ပါဝင်မှာဖြစ်ပြီး Question 1 မှာ Informal Email / letters တွေကို ဖြေရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ESL reading question types တွေဟာလည်း ESL Listening question format နဲ့ တူပါတယ်။ Multiple-Choice Question – MCQ, Complete Sentence, Closed-type Sentences တွေ ပါလာမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Question No. 3 တွေဟာ Formal Email / Letter တွေကို ဖတ်ပြီး Multiple-Choice Question – MCQ အမှတ်ခြစ်ပေးရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Question – 6, 7, 8 တွေမှာ Multiple-Choice Question – MCQ တွေနဲ့ “You do not need to write in full sentences” ဆိုတဲ့ Sentence တစ်ခုချင်းစီဖြေတဲ့အခါ Full sentence ဖြေလို့မရတဲ့ Answer completion တွေ ပါလာမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Listening format လိုမျိုး အဓိက Key point –( words or Phrases ) တွေကို ရွေးချယ်ပြီး ဖြေဆိုရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Question တွေကို သေချာဖတ်ပြီး Blog, formal Letter, informal Letter, Email ထဲက Fact, contact, information တွေ ကို ရှာပြီး ( ၁) နာရီအတွင်း မြန်မြန်ဆန်ဆန်လေး ဖြေဆိုဖို့ လိုပါတယ်။ ။
ESL Listening & Reading Test တွေကို ကောင်းမွန်စွာဖြေဆိုနိုင်ကြပါစေ။

IGCSE O'level English Language B( EFL) ကိုလေ့လာနေတဲ့ ကျောင်းသူ/သားတွေ အနေနဲ့ ဒီနေ့ Figurative language အကြောင်းကို အနည်းငယ် ပြောပြပါမယ်။

Figurative language ဆိုတာ ပုံဖော်ပြီး၊ နှိုင်းယှဉ်ပြီး၊ သဘောတရားအနေနဲ့ ပြောဆိုတာမျိုးပါ။

Simile (ဆင်တူယဉ်)
➤ “like” နဲ့ “as” အသုံးပြုပြီး နှိုင်းယှဉ်တယ်။
🟢 Example: “She is as brave as a lion.”
(သူမဟာ ခြင်္သေ့လို ရဲရင့်တယ်။)

Metaphor (အနက်ဖွင့်ပုံဖော်)
➤ တိုက်ရိုက်နှိုင်းယှဉ်တယ် (without like/as)
🟢 Example: “Time is a thief.”
(အချိန်ဟာ ခိုးသူတစ်ယောက်ပါ။

Personification (လူပုံဖော်ခြင်း)
➤ မူလအားဖြင့် မျိုးမရှိတဲ့အရာတွေကို လူလိုလုပ်သည့်အတိုင်းဖော်ပြတယ်။
🟢 Example: “The wind whispered through the trees.”

Hyperbole (အမြှင်းအမြော)
➤ အရာတစ်ခုကို များများကြီးကြီး ပြောပြတယ်။
🟢 Example: “I’ve told you a million times!”

Onomatopoeia (အသံပုံဖော်စကား)
➤ အသံနဲ့တစ်သွယ်တည်းသုံးတဲ့စကား။
🟢 Example: “The bees buzzed around the flowers.”
(“buzz” ဆိုတဲ့အသံက ပျားအသံပါ။)

Alliteration (အထပ်သံသုံးခြင်း)
➤ စာလုံးအပေါ်ဆုံးသံကို ထပ်ထပ်သုံးတယ်။
🟢 Example: “Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.”

Figurative language ဆိုတာက စာအနုပညာနဲ့ စကားပုံစံတွေကို ပိုလှစေတယ်၊ စာဖတ်သူကို စိတ်ဝင်စားဖွယ်ဖြစ်စေပါတယ်။

IGCSE Edexcel ESL Speaking Test ( Part 1, 2 & 3)

သိကြတဲ့အတိုင်းပဲ Edexcel ESL speaking မှာ Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 ဆိုပြီး ( ၃) ပိုင်း ပါဝင်ပြီး စုစုပေါင်း ဖြေဆိုချိန် ( ၁၃) မိနစ် ကြာပါတယ် စုစုပေါင်းအမှတ် ( ၅၀) ဖိုး ဖြေဆိုရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Speaking part 1,2,3 မစတင်ခင် Examiner က Speaking လာဖြေတဲ့ IG ကျောင်းသူ/သားတွေကို Warm up activity အနေနဲ့ " How are you? " Or how is your day going?" or What do you think of the weather today?" စတဲ့ မေးခွန်းတွေကို မေးပါလိမ့်မယ် ဒီမေးခွန်းတွေက Speaking Test လာဖြေတဲ့ ကျောင်းသူ/သားတွေကို Examiner နဲ့ ရင်းနှီးသွားအောင်၊ Exam ဆိုတော့ ကျောင်းသား/သူတွေ စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားမှု ကို အနည်းငယ် သက်သာစေမယ့် စကားတွေ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီ မေးခွန်းတွေကို အမှတ်ပေးလေ့ မရှိပါဘူး။
Part 1: Speaking Part 1 မှာတော့ Role play ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Role play ကတော့ ၁ မိနစ်ကနေ ၂ မိနစ် အတွင်း မှာ ဖြေရမှာ ဖြစ်ပြီး ( 10 ) မှတ် ရမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Role play မှာ Speaking Topic အတွက် Card ( 2) ခု ပါဝင်ပါမယ်။ ပထမ တစ်ကဒ်ကတော့ Examiner Card ဖြစ်ပြီး သူ့ဆီမှာ Topic ပါဝင်ပါတယ် ။ ပြီးတော့ candidate card ဖြစ်ပြီး ကျောင်းသူ/သားတွေ ကြည့်ပြီး ဖြေဆိုရမယ့် Card ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
