we are on the northern side of the lake. two small hills, no cold wind in winter, a tiny antic city on the slope. on the larger hill - three basilicas, on the smaller one - two, between the two hills - four. each of them, large, as a cathedral. under the city of today, another city, of churches only. the macedonians found: a city of churches.
greek archaeologists, a dozen years ago, also announced, also officiall: at least 130,000 years of navigation in the mediterranean. europe, two calmest seas in the world. the northern one-warm. no warm sea in the north, only europe. because of the gulf stream. europeans-ordinary people. this special geography makes them the first seafarers and "masters of the world". britannia rules the waves.
the builders of the city of churches, the europeans, we understood them geographically. now let's see: what is a temple, what is religion?
the first faith of man is biologically defined, of course - the mother. mother nature, for the blessed fishermen: mother water. the largest well of europe-lake ohrid. two-thirds of europeans, the germanic and the slavs, use the same words: light/divinity. luminosity, shine, an aura:halo. the same word, holy:godly, divine. on these shiny, sacred waters we thank the mother: the oldest, clearest waters of europe, 22 meters transparency.
