Wonderful Macedonia In June 2015 we organized the first workshop in Krusevo with the Macedonian music legend, the guitarist Vlatko Stefanovski.

Идејата и целта на “Krusevo Workshop” е почнувајќи од 2015 година, градот Крушево а особено Спомен куќата на Тоше Проески, да прерасне во регионален културен центар за едукација во областа на уметноста.

По исклучително успешната работилница која ја реализиравме во м. Јуни 2015 г. со музичката легенда легенда Влатко Стефановски на која присуствуваа над 70 гитаристи, ова ќе биде второ издание на в

аквиот workshop и истиот ќе го води македонскиот виртуоз на хармоника Горан Алачки.

Во годините што следуваат слични работилници ќе водат признаени и реномирани уметници од Македонија и светот.

Работилниците се наменети за сите млади луѓе од регионот кои во Спомен куќата на Тоше Проески, ќе имаат ретка прилика и шанса да се запознаат, да научат или доусовршат од докажани “мајстори на својот занает“ во различни области на уметноста.

The idea and the purpose of the “Krusevo Workshop” is the city of Krusevo, especially the memorial house of Toshe Proeski to grow into a regional cultural centre for education in the field of art. It went extremely successful with over 70 participants worldwide.
Тhis will be the second edition of our workshop and will be organized with the Macedonian virtuoso on accordion Goran Alachki. In the years to follow similar workshops will follow attended by recognized and renowned artists from Macedonia and from all over the world. The workshops are intended for all young people from the region who, in the Memorial house of Toshe Proeski, will have the rare opportunity and chance to meet, to learn from or improve their skills learning from established “masters in their own field” in different arts. The Robevci House is built in 1827 and according to its size and architectural expression, represents a kind of status symbol for the family whose trade connections were in Europe.
In 1996, the Robevci House was placed under Protection of Cultural Monuments as a valuable cultural and historical architectural heritage with the recognizable characteristics of the old town Ohrid.
Today it serves as a museum with a rich archaeological collection, which consists of six categories:
The Prehistoric Collection includes archaeological movable objects from the areas of prehistoric palafitte settlements discovered under the waters of Lake Ohrid.
The Antique Collection includes movable archaeological objects from the ancient periods: from the 4th century BC to the 5th century AD.
The Medieval Collection includes movable archaeological objects from the Ottoman period.
The Numismatic Collection includes silver and bronze coins from the ancient and medieval periods, as well as from the late Middle Ages.
The Collection of Epigraphic and Other Stone Monuments includes epigraphic monuments, stone and marble, whole or fragmented artistic and building elements.
The Collection of Gold from All Periods includes gold and gilded movable archaeological objects from the prehistoric Iron Age and the Archaic period, the ancient and medieval periods.

Robevci House Ohrid Part 1 - Woodcarving
The Robevci family house in Ohrid is a protected cultural monument and consists of three floors, plus the top floor, the so-called “shirvan”.
In the lower part, epigraphic monuments from Ohrid and the surrounding area are exhibited. Archaeological exhibits dating from prehistoric times to the medieval period are also exhibited on the second and third floors.
In the shirvan of the house, which captivates with its exterior, but also its interior, samples of objects made in Ohrid carving are presented, works of famous masters from the city and the surrounding area.
Carving is a craft with a long tradition in Ohrid. A carving school existed here for decades.
The tradition of the carving craft has been cherished to this day, although most of the top carving masters are no longer alive. Their ingenious works adorn a large number of spiritual temples, as well as the most representative state and public institutions in Macedonia.
The carvings made by Ohrid masters are exceptionally valuable works of art, which are highly appreciated not only in Macedonia, but also beyond.
Today, there are several individuals who create carvings, two of whom have studios right on the street that is considered the most interesting in terms of old city architecture and which leads to the cathedral church of St. Sophia in Ohrid.

This unique house museum tells the story of the iconic Dereban artisan family, whose hands have been transforming silver into the most refined works of art for generations.
The Dereban family has been passing down the secret of making Ohrid filigree from generation to generation, preserving the authentic spirit of the old Ohrid Bazaar.
