This morning we had the privilege of visiting the digital nomad school in Kotor for two presentations with some truly curious young minds 🌊

We shared the stories of the incredible species that call the Bay of Kotor home, played interactive educational games, and talked about the research being done to protect Montenegro's wildlife.

Moments like these remind us why this work matters so much. A huge thank you to Boundless Life for welcoming us back, we're always grateful for the invitation 💙

🐬 During our BioBlitz event for SAMESEA , our incredible volunteers took to the streets with a powerful theatre performance dedicated to dolphin protection! 🎭

The play brought to life the very real threats facing dolphins today. The audience loved it, sticking around to ask questions and spark meaningful conversations about protecting our marine life. 💙

A huge thank you to our audience for their curiosity and engagement, and to our volunteers for their stellar performance. You made the whole day a success! 🌊✨

🐬 Tokom našeg BioBlitz događaja u okviru projekta SAMESEA interregIPAADRION, naši sjajni volonteri izašli su na ulice Risna i izveli upečatljivu pozorišnu predstavu posvećenu zaštiti delfina! 🎭

Predstava je na slikovit način prikazala razne prijetnje s kojima se delfini danas suočavaju. Publika je bila oduševljena, i nakon završenog performansa je ostala da postavlja pitanja i pokrene značajne razgovore o zaštiti našeg morskog svijeta. 💙

💙 What a day around Risan!

Yesterday's BioBlitz brought together people committed to protecting the marine environment to clean three beaches (including an underwater action!) and document local biodiversity, all as part of the project. The highlight? Two bottlenose dolphins who decided to join the effort. 🐬 We'll take that as a thank you!

Jučerašnja BioBlitz akcija okupila je ljude posvećene zaštiti morskog okruženja kako bi očistili tri plaže (uključujući i priobalje) i evidentirali lokalni biodiverzitet, sve u okviru projekta . Vrhunac dana? Dva dobra delfina koja su odlučila da se pridruže akciji. 🐬 To ćemo shvatiti kao jedno veliko hvala u njihovo ime!

Balša Dragović appeared on Radio Kotor, where he announced the upcoming cleanup action that will take place in Risan on Saturday, June 13, starting at 9:30.

During the interview, our team member spoke about the importance of collective action in protecting the sea and coastline, and invited citizens, divers, and boat owners to join the initiative. He also emphasized that several organizations and local partners are involved in organizing the event, and that this action serves as a lead-up to a large-scale cleanup of the entire Bay planned for July.

We were honored to participate as speakers at the Global Ocean Day 2026: Youth Leadership & Blue Investment event, hosted by the Institute for Art and Innovation (IFAI) in collaboration with the Alliance for Youth-Led Futures (AYLF).

As part of the conversations leading up to COP31 in Antalya, the event brought together participants working on ocean futures, youth participation, sustainable finance, and regenerative systems.

During the session, we presented the work of MDR and DMAD, with a particular focus on youth-led initiatives and blue investment projects implemented through our organizations. It was also a great opportunity to hear from other speakers, learn more about their work, exchange ideas, and discuss future collaboration opportunities.

A big thank you to IFAI and AYLF for organizing this event and for inviting us to be part of this important discussion 🌊♻️

Bila nam je čast da učestvujemo kao govornici na događaju Global Ocean Day 2026: Youth Leadership & Blue Investment, koji je organizovao Institute for Art and Innovation (IFAI) u saradnji sa Alliance for Youth-Led Futures (AYLF).

Kao dio razgovora koji vode ka COP31 u Antaliji, događaj je okupio učesnike koji djeluju u oblastima budućnosti okeana, učešća mladih, održivog finansiranja i regenerativnih sistema.

Tokom sesije predstavili smo rad MDR-a i DMAD-a, sa posebnim fokusom na inicijative mladih i projekte plavih investicija koje sprovodimo kroz naše organizacije. Ovo je ujedno bila sjajna prilika da čujemo druge govornike, upoznamo se sa njihovim radom, razmijenimo ideje i razgovaramo o budućim oblicima saradnje.
