Building Values and Tolerance, One Step at a Time!
What truly makes a good life? Today, our students dived deep into this question through a series of dynamic, reflective, and hands-on activities focused on life values and tolerance.
Here is a glimpse into our inspiring day:
- Spot the Change: We kicked things off with a high-energy observation game that got everyone focused and smiling.
- What Makes a Good Life?: A brilliant brainstorming session where students freely shared ideas about the qualities and values that help people live happily.
- Diamond Ranking: Students got reflective, individually ranking their core life values and then working in pairs they debated and compared what matters most in society today.
- Role Play Scenarios: Putting values into action! Groups tackled real-life conflict scenarios, performing insightful dialogues and discussing how empathy and core values can improve difficult situations.
- The Jigsaw Wrap-up: To bring it all together, groups used their creativity to fill in pieces of a blank puzzle with key words, quotes, and illustrations, combining them into one beautiful, shared message about life values.
It was incredible to see our students participate so actively, listen to differing ideas with respect, and collaborate to understand what connects us all. So proud of their critical thinking and big hearts today!
