Get In - Inclusion of Youngsters in Community Life

On the 17th of January 2021, the Măcărești Community Center in Moldova has opened its doors to the local youth as a result of the Get In Project. During the opening ceremony, the AVI-Moldova team, together with pro-active youngsters from Moldova presented ways of including students in the community life of the Măcărești village and sources to find opportunities in the future. Starting with the opening day, the Măcărești Community Center will be active all year round, with the local support of AVI-Moldova.

On 10th October, another GET IN activity has taken place in Lodz, led by Europejska Fundacja Rozwoju Czlowieka.🤩 The Team has met their target group to discuss and gather opinions and suggestions on how to manage a Youth Centre oriented to social inclusion, which methods and instruments to use and adapt, which strategies to apply, and how to monitor quality standards and also hybrid conditions: digital and frontal. 📲🤓

🎙The attendees shared points of view and their needs to gather concrete applicable solutions to propose for the GET IN Youth Centres in Moldova and Armenia while reinforcing our local youth work's vision, especially during the pandemic. The last aspect the group has touched on was the consequences that social inclusion and youth work have to consider for the future: we all know that we will have to work harder when this historical moment is ended. 💜

On the 19th of September, Europejska Fundacja Rozwoju Człowieka has carried out the second Forum within the Erasmus+ project “GET IN.” 🤩 The participants have reflected on the relevance of being active and committed young people to boost social inclusion and build a solid list of recommendations to inclusive youth centers. 🏫

🤓🔎The results have shown that in Łódź, the highest numbers of youth work dedicate to youth relate to minorities and local youth supporting other youth to integrate into society through holistic activities. Another fundamental aspect of growing youth centers is firm planning shared and complemented with stakeholders and partners.

The last event will take place on the upcoming weekend.📅

Yesterday evening, the 26th of September, members of the community center in Măcărești, Moldova, have organized a Movie Night.🎥💜 The group watched the projected movies together in the open air and enjoyed friendly conversations afterward!🤗

Last Sunday, on September 13th, Europejska Fundacja Rozwoju Człowieka has held one of the Local Forums in Lodz (Poland) connected with "GET IN" project. 🤩

The scope of the event was centered around a couple of highlights:
✔️ The presentation of results introduced by the President of Europejska Fundacja Rozwoju Człowieka, Mr. Gradecki;
✔️ The establishment of the relevance of social inclusion and youth community development held by Prof. Artur Modlinski from the University of Lodz;
✔️ Collecting opinions and recommendations regarding the boost of Youth centers;
✔️ The discussion on foreseeing how to involve more young individuals with diverse needs in youth centers and community development;
✔️ Drafting ideas and suggestions for future project presentations.

The participants were incredibly helpful in sharing ideas and engaging in the discussion. Overall, the Forum was a wonderful start of a series of many more Get In Poland activities.💜

With respect to the current restrictions and a backpack full of energy, in the last summer weekend, the team from Get In Moldova met for a planning activity of the next events of the project. 🤓👫 During the meetings, there were get-to-know each other sessions, followed by seminars on topics such as "How to carry out an activity?" and "Planning our work for next year".

Throughout the seminar, the participants showed the maximum observance of the hygiene rules, regarding the epidemiological situation, and proved once again that if you love your work, it can be carried out under any conditions!💜

The last mobility activity was planned for the evaluation of the results of the project. The mobility activity gave us the opportunity to bring together as leaders, trainers, and experts involved in this project, as well as those participants who were involved in the Community centers as multipliers and youth workers. This created an opportune environment to look at the project from different perspectives. The seminar also included the presentation of the main results of local activities implemented in respective countries, shared the results and outcomes. The activity was hosted by EuroFRC in Poland and implemented by all the members of the consortium. It took place between the 6th and 12th of February, 2020.
