The true value of a program is always its people. 💜

We believe that building the tech ecosystem of our region comes down to two driving forces: curious, deeply involved participants and experts who have a sincere passion for creating a lasting impact.

Today, we want to spotlight a special contribution from one of our three incredible cohort coaches, George Moroșan (Chief Product & Technology Officer at Orbility).

At the launch of this program, George generously provided 6 funded scholarships, opening doors for bright local talents to join Pivotal completely free of charge.

✨ But the real value went far beyond the financial support. The true impact lies in unwavering commitment to quality and hands-on mentorship. Participants didn't just learn product management, they fully immersed themselves in the process, delivering superb, user-centric results at Demo Day.

While all three of our phenomenal coaches poured immense time, energy, and heart into guiding their respective teams to the finish line, this scholarship initiative created a beautiful layer of opportunity for our community. It showed exactly what happens when industry leaders actively step up to mold the next generation of product leadership in Moldova.

Last Friday, we celebrated Graduation & Demo Day at Pivotal Product School, and while it's bittersweet saying goodbye to this cohort, the sheer energy and talent they displayed left us truly inspired.

Out of 10 brilliant teams that worked tirelessly throughout the program, 5 were selected to take the stage and present their strategic, reimagined product visions for EVO, Selftalk, and Brizy.

We are incredibly proud of the 30 outstanding participants who completed this journey with flying colors. They are now fully equipped and ready to master the world of product management.

A sincere thank you to our program mentor, coaches, speakers, and partners. Your guidance, support, and expertise made this entire edition possible.

💜 And to our graduates: thank you for trusting us with your growth, for pushing your boundaries, and for proving how much can be accomplished in just 8 weeks.

We are officially one day away from the Graduation and Demo Day event, marking the end of an incredible journey for the Pivotal program.

The cohort recently completed module 9, where participants explored how to leverage AI as a strategic partner in building products with Mikhail Shcheglov, CPO at Birmarket.

The final module focused on the professional leap, with our program mentor, Adrian Pica, guiding participants through the essentials of landing a Product Manager role.

Things got even more exciting this week during the Pre-Demo Day.

All 10 teams showcased their product strategies for Evo, Selftalk, and Brizy, and based on these presentations, top 5 teams were selected to take the main stage tomorrow.

It’s going to be an evening of great pitches, graduation celebration, and meaningful networking. 💜

As we approach the finish line of this edition of Pivotal Product School, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to Adrian Pica, VP of Product Management at EUROWAG, for delivering an incredible series of mentorship sessions.

💜 Adrian has been more than just a mentor, he’s been a strategic guide.

Throughout the program, Adrian shared valuable lessons from his experience building and scaling products at companies like Bolt, Getsafe, Grab, and Telenav, while also bringing an entrepreneurial perspective shaped by ventures such as PretulMeu.ro and Cowork Timisoara.

It has been an intense and rewarding journey, and now it’s time for the grand finale – Demo Day.

Last week, our Pivotal participants stepped inside the Electronic Governance Agency to explore what product management looks like at a national scale.

From strategy to ex*****on, they went behind the scenes to see how digital products like EVO – one of our case studies – are planned, built, and launched inside a large-scale organization.

And the learning definitely didn’t stop there.

Adrian Pica, VP of Product Management at EUROWAG led a deep dive into product thinking and managing digital tools in high-velocity environments.

In Module 8, Iulian Vasilisca, Head of Product at Welltech shifted the focus to metrics and decision-making, teaching them how to optimize performance data and determine whether to scale, maintain, or sunset a product.

Now, the finish line is getting closer.

The final weeks of the program are here, and our future product managers are preparing to showcase everything they’ve built at Demo Day.

At Pivotal, we believe in learning by doing.

That’s why our current cohort of aspiring product managers is working on 3 diverse, high-impact case studies.

We are proud to announce the products our participants are currently analyzing and reproducing:

📍 Selftalk: An AI-driven self-coaching and therapy platform. By leveraging the expertise of licensed psychologists, Selftalk provides an affordable, on-demand alternative to traditional therapy.

📍 Brizy: A leading no-code website builder. With its intuitive drag-and-drop interface and AI-powered site generation, Brizy is making professional web design accessible to everyone.

📍 EVO: The integrated government app for electronic services. A cornerstone of digital transformation, turning complex, fragmented public services and life events into seamless, proactive, and human-centered experiences accessed in one secure place.

The Mission: Our students are tasked with navigating the complexities of these products, from user research to feature prioritization and roadmap ex*****on.
