Dar Essalam American School’s Grade 12 student Zaynab proudly presents her Visual Arts Exhibition as part of her IB program 🎨
Her artwork explores themes of psychological tension and emotional vulnerability, inspired by Cesar A. Cruz. Over the course of 18 months, she engaged in a thoughtful creative process, experimenting with different techniques to achieve powerful visual outcomes.

Dar Essalam American School’s Grade 9 students turned their persuasive writing lesson into real-life impact.
As part of their English class, students wrote persuasive letters to the Head of School proposing a fundraiser, and brought their ideas to life through creative stations including toy donations, snack sales, and fun games like the flip-the-bottle challenge, giant chess, and “throw the ball in the bin”.
Through this initiative, they are raising funds to support women and children in need, showing how their voices can create meaningful change beyond the classroom 💙
