Hassan II University of Casablanca

Le 13 août 2026, Une visite de courtoisie de Pr. Dr Nahyan Helal, Président de l’EACOH (Emirates Association for Community and Occupational Health) à l’Université Hassan II de Casablanca, dans le cadre du renforcement des relations internationales dans le domaine de la santé au travail.

Cette rencontre a réuni Pr. Anass KETTANI, Vice-Président de l’Université Hassan II de Casablanca chargé des Affaires académiques et de la Vie étudiante, et Pr. Kamal WIFAQ, Professeur de médecine du travail à la Faculté de Médecine et de Pharmacie de l’UH2C et membre du Conseil d’administration de l’ICOH.

Les échanges ont porté sur les perspectives de développement d’une coopération structurée entre l’EACOH et l’Université Hassan II de Casablanca, avec notamment la volonté de formaliser ce partenariat à travers un protocole d’accord, favorisant la mobilité, le partage d’expertise et le développement d’initiatives conjointes dans le domaine de la santé au travail.

L’Université adresse ses chaleureuses félicitations à M. Bachir Belhamri, étudiant doctorant à la Faculté des Lettres et des Sciences Humaines Ben M’sik, pour avoir remporté le Prix « Eng. Fernando Gonçalves Lavrador » lors de la 17ᵉ Conférence Internationale AVANCA | CINEMA 2026, organisée sous le thème « Cinéma – Art, Technologie et Communication ».

M. Belhamri prépare une thèse consacrée à l’intelligence artificielle et au cinéma, au sein du Laboratoire Linguistique, Sémiotique et Analyse du Discours.

Cette distinction, obtenue à Avanca, au Portugal, du 29 juillet au 2 août 2026, vient saluer la qualité de son travail de recherche et témoigne de l’excellence de la recherche scientifique portée par nos doctorants.

Toutes nos félicitations à M. Bachir Belhamri pour cette belle réussite et tous nos vœux de succès pour la suite de son parcours scientifique !

Day 9 – Closing Ceremony : UH2C International Summer School 2026

Today marked the official Closing Ceremony, a day of celebration, recognition, and pride. The event brought together heads of institutions, partners, speakers, and the general public to witness the final presentations of our students' projects. It was a moment to celebrate their hard work, creativity, and dedication over the past nine days.

Two outstanding projects stood out and were honored during the ceremony:
• Jury Prize : Matchini
• Public Prize : Sir
A huge congratulations to both teams for their exceptional work! Your innovation and team spirit truly impressed everyone.
All the projects presented today were remarkable, and every participant should be proud of what they have accomplished.

The ceremony also coincided with a very special occasion for Morocco: Throne Day. In a moment of unity and pride, all attendees gathered to listen to the royal speech delivered by His Majesty King Mohammed VI. It was a meaningful and moving moment that added great significance to our closing event.

To conclude this unforgettable journey, participants celebrated in style with traditional Moroccan music and dance. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and friendship – a perfect ending to an incredible summer school.

To all the students: you came as strangers and leave as friends. You learned, you created, and you made memories that will last a lifetime. This is not the end – it's just the beginning of your journey.

Day 9 – The Grand Finale: Hackathon & Project Showdown!

After a week of learning, cultural immersion, and networking, we reached the climax of our journey: Hackathon Day!
Our talented student teams were tasked with an exciting challenge: develop an innovative application to enhance the tourist experience in Morocco. From planning the perfect itinerary to finding hidden culinary gems and navigating the Medina, these students stepped up to the plate.

We are thrilled to announce the 8 incredible projects that were presented today:
1. FinGo – Streamlining payments and currency exchange.
2. Sir – Your personal AI concierge for Moroccan culture.
3. Rifqa – A platform for safe and authentic local experiences.
4. Matchini – The social network for travelers to connect with locals.
5. Momo Mondial – A gamified guide to exploring Moroccan landmarks.
6. Abrid – The ultimate navigation tool for the souks and beyond.
7. MorEcho – Sustainable travel and eco-friendly attraction finder.
8. DarConnect – Bridging tourists with traditional Moroccan "Riads."
