A meeting was held on Wednesday
13 / 2 / 2019 in the office of the President of the Academy Dr. Ali Mahdi Nasef with the Ministry of Finance Committee included financial advisor to the Ministry of Finance , Director of the Department of Graduate Studies in the Ministry of Education , Director of the Office of Legal Affairs and a number of advisors and employees of the Academy.
During the meeting, a number of topics related to the Academy were discussed

The General Manager of the Customs Authority, Mustafa Azzam Al-Turjman, and the Secretary-General of the World Customs Organization (WCO), Kunio Mikuriya, inaugurated Sunday the Libyan Academy for Customs Studies.
The inauguration ceremony took place on Sunday at Tripoli’s Customs Authority headquarters as the Secretary General Mikuriya is on a formal visit to Libya.
Many foreign diplomatic figures in Libya attended the ceremony along with international customs experts who accompanied Mikuriya as well as the Libyan Customs Authority’s managers, a delegate for the Libyan Foreign Ministry and others.
The new academy will have its degrees, as it hopes to give Bachelor and Master’s degrees, verified by the Quality Administration of the Higher Education Ministry in Libya.
