🎉 SUCCESSFUL BRIGADA ESKWELA & BRIGADA PAGBASA KICK-OFF 2026! 🎉

Demonstrating the true spirit of Bayanihan sa Paaralan, the Tandag City SpEd Center officially launched its Brigada Eskwela and Brigada Pagbasa programs last June 1, 2026!

The event was a beautiful showcase of community unity, bringing together our dedicated teachers, enthusiastic learners, active SELG officers, supportive parents, alumni, and stakeholders.

🌟 A Community United for Education
The opening program was highly graced by our active Barangay officials, led by Punong Barangay Hon. Luis F. Maquiling, alongside Barangay Councilors Hon. Edwin Diaz and Hon. Hector Estose. We were also honored by the presence and support of our men in uniform from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Tandag City.

In his inspiring message of support, Hon. Luis F. Maquiling reaffirmed the Barangay Local Government Unit’s (BLGU) unwavering commitment to continuously champion and support the programs of the Tandag City SpEd Center.

🤝 Alumni Giving Back: Clothing the Future
Adding heart to the event, our wonderful Alumni also made their presence felt by leading a meaningful donation drive. They generously brought and turned over school uniforms intended for our Learners with Special Educational Needs (LSENs)—a touching gesture that ensures our learners feel confident and fully equipped for the coming school year.

❤️ A Message of Gratitude from Leadership
Our dynamic School Head, Mrs. Genalyn S. Feril, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the parents, stakeholders, alumni, and distinguished guests. In her message of appreciation, she commended everyone's enduring volunteerism and invaluable support, which serves as the driving force for Tandag City SpEd Center to continue soaring high and performing at its best.

🌱 Planting Seeds for the Future
Following the opening ceremony, the spirit of collaboration continued with a Seedling Activity. Parents, learners, teachers, and BLGU officials joined hands in broadcasting seedlings, jumpstarting our Gulayan sa Paaralan initiative to promote sustainability and health within the school.

Thank you to everyone who poured their time, effort, and heart into making this kick-off a resounding success. Together, we are building a safer, greener, and more resilient environment for our SpEd learners!

Congratulations to all our aspiring SpEdians who took the assessment last May 7–8, 2026! We are so proud of your hard work and can’t wait to see your bright faces in our hallways.

What’s Next? Official Confirmation
To officially join the SpEd family, parents/guardians must visit the school to sign the Final Confirmation List. Please take note of the schedule below:

May 18–21, 2026 (Monday–Thursday): Open for Confirmation

May 22, 2026 (Friday): NO CONFIRMATION (School Office is on Work-From-Home status)

May 25, 2026 (Monday): LAST DAY for Confirmation
