AI is already an everyday tool for educators, but it also raises important questions about critical thinking, academic integrity, and the future of teaching.

Within the Erasmus+ project EHEAII, an international survey gathered insights from 453 academic staff members representing 61 higher education institutions in more than 20 EU countries. The results reveal both the opportunities and challenges of AI in higher education.

🤖📚 How are European countries regulating and integrating Artificial Intelligence in higher education?
The EHEAII project has published a new report analysing the national regulatory and policy landscape for AI in higher education across six European countries: 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇱🇹 Lithuania, 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇸🇮 Slovenia, and 🇱🇻 Latvia.

🤖 Round Table Discussion in Slovenia

The University of Maribor – Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (UM FERI), in cooperation with the Faculty of Education, University of Maribor, will organize a round table discussion dedicated to the role and integration of Artificial Intelligence in higher education.

The event will bring together professors, assistants, researchers, and students from both faculties, as well as invited experts who actively shape academic practice and institutional policies.

The round table will provide a space for open dialogue, exchange of experiences, and discussion about opportunities, challenges, and future directions of AI in universities.

📍 The round table will take place at the University of Maribor, Slovenia, at 12:30 CET.
