MOST COMMON QUESTION ASKED :

Q) Part-time jobs for Indian students in Riga?

A) The part time job scene in Riga is a bit challenging. Although it is possible to get such jobs at Indian or other Asian restaurants, etc, almost all the local companies/organizations here require you to speak Latvian and/or Russian fluently along with English. Latvian having more opportunities than Russian language within Latvia.

My suggestion to student's is to always look for part time jobs while studying but never come here depending on part time jobs entirely to complete your education.
With that said, it is possible to conquer any challenges if one is willing and motivated!

So best of luck to all of you!!

Latvian cuisine comes heartily recommended!

Many restaurants incorporate fresh, local ingredients and feature seasonal menus.
During the summer season, fresh forest berries are abundant and wild mushrooms and autumnal vegetables grace tables in autumn.
The winter months feature traditional grey peas and sauerkraut, and crisp potato pancakes served with lingonberry jam.
