Skrivanek offers various language services and is proud of more than 25 years of experience in the field. At the moment, Skrivanek has almost 50 branches in different countries of the world. The Latvian branch of Skrivanek Baltic has been offering its clients high-quality language courses and translation services since 2003. Specially designed foreign language learning programmes help children and young people quickly learn new languages, as well as consolidate their knowledge.

The MIRTE Language Centre was founded at the end of 1992 and it is one of the largest educational centres in Latvia. MIRTE students are represented by both individual students and ogranisations. The educational offer also includes language training abroad with the Centre’s partners. The teachers of the centre are professionals in their field who conduct individual classes, organise language courses and prepare students for IELTS and TOEFL.

Berlitz language courses for children and teenagers not only contribute to the development of their students, but also open the doors to global opportunities to them. Berlitz offers a variety of programmes from school preparation for beginners to international language camps. Well-trained teachers have experience working with children of all ages. The unique learning cycle allows students, parents, and teachers to monitor progress and mark the students’ successes. The right educational concept motivates students and facilitates learning.

The CLASS Language Centre invites students to English classes and IELTS, TOEFL, CAE exam preparation courses. The centre's programmes comply with the international standards of foreign language teaching and the levels of language competence approved by the Council of Europe. The unique method of emotional and semantic learning allows students to perceive the material in a most effective way. In addition to English, CLASS organises courses in English, French, German, Latvian, and Russian for adults and corporate clients.

The Scandinavian-Baltic language training company Baltic Media organises language courses in Riga for businesses and individuals. Since 2011, Baltic Media Language Training Centre has been a registered educational institution in the State Education Quality Service of the Republic of Latvia. The National Agency for Education Development has registered educational programmes in Latvian, English, Swedish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish, Lithuanian, and other languages. The centre provides various programmes in professional and personal development as non-formal education for adults, as well as classes for children.

Since 1996, Meridian Group English courses in Riga have been attended by hundreds of schoolchildren, students and adults. The training centre offers individual classes, Saturday courses in English for beginners and advanced students, as well as preparation for IELTS and for school exams in English in grades 9 and 12. The curricula are aligned with CEF, the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Teachers use classical and innovative methods, including electronic interactive teaching materials.

Mortimer English Club Riga is known all over the world. The teachers of the school are experienced professionals who are able to find an approach to students of all ages. The courses are held in the form of full immersion in the language environment. Classes in small groups of up to 8 people and communication in English from day one allow students to achieve the maximum efficiency in learning a foreign language.

POLYGLOT Training Centre offers courses for students with different levels of language proficiency. Apart from highly qualified teachers from Latvia, native speakers work at the centre, too. POLYGLOT carries out thorough quality control of the educational process assessing two components: the dynamics of learning and the teachers' professionalism by means of a questionnaire in the middle and at the end of the course, as well as methodologist's and psychologist's comments. In addition, the training centre provides an opportunity to take online training and computer courses.

The International House Riga-Satva Language School has been successfully operating since 1993, and will soon celebrate its 30th anniversary. The main task of the IH courses is to develop students' communication skills in a foreign language. All teachers, both from Latvia and abroad, are have international Cambridge CELTA and DELTA certificates. Here, kids and teenagers can study English, Latvian, Spanish, and German. Classes are held in small groups in a school located in the centre of Riga, and online in Zoom.

Founded in 2008, Rīgas 1. valodu skola has educated and helped to graduate to about 5,000 students. The training centre offers its clients various programmes: kindergarten, school, home and online classes. Classes for students with all levels of English are conducted in a convenient manner by native speakers.

William Jones Language Centre organises both group and individual language training. English language teachers from the USA, Great Britain, Canada create an English-speaking environment, and individual training programmes allow students to quickly achieve tangible results in language learning. In addition to classes for children, William Jones Language Centre provides classes for adults and business English training.

Pygmalion
Founded in 2003, the Pygmalion Language Centre offers an extensive list of licensed language programmes for children, adults, and corporate clients. Certified local and foreign teachers regularly attend professional courses and seminars both in Latvia and abroad. During the classes, the communicative method is used, as well as the elements of the subject-language integrated learning (CLIL). Lessons are conducted in small groups of 4-7 people in modern, cozy rooms.
