This was our fourth art walk, and this time the forest became a concert hall.

We started by listening to the sounds around us — the wind, the rustling leaves. Then the children made their own musical instruments. And when the tongue drums came out, we took our time learning how to hold them, how to strike them, how to find the right sound. We finished by playing the music of rain in the middle of the forest.

Nobody said it would be easy.

The knots were difficult even for the parents. But nobody gave up. It was a team effort from the very first knot. No shortcuts, just focus, and a lot of patience.

And then they put the rafts in the water. That moment made everything worth it 🌿

We used only natural materials — wood and jute. Built with care. Taken home with pride.

We often look for the big things in the forest. But some of the most interesting residents are the ones you almost walk past.
On our last walk with the littlest ones, we found funnel-web spider burrows in the ground and the snails hiding through the dry leaves.
