Friday, May 31st: Class of 2024 Graduation
7p.m. Class of 2024 assembles in the Corral Center (USF), which is to the left of Gate A. Only graduates are allowed in this area. Graduates will need to leave purses, cameras, and personal items with a parent or friend in the audience. Items may not be taken in during the processional. Flowers or corsages are not permitted. Graduates will need to bring their gowns to this location draped over their forearm and not physically on. We will not have extra gowns on hand, make sure you bring yours to the ceremony.
When you arrive at USF, please make sure that you enter at the Fowler Avenue and Bull Run entrance. There will be signs throughout the area that will direct you.
8p.m. Graduation ceremony- USF Yuengling Center
Seating is unlimited at USF. Tickets will not be necessary. If you need handicapped seating, please enter through Gate A. At this location, there will be elevators available. There is handicapped seating available throughout the Yuengling Center. There is a reserved seating area for those requiring hearing impaired services. All guests upon entering will be searched by security. All bags will be searched as well. No backpacks will be permitted. Cameras and binoculars will only be permitted if they are out of their cases. No professional camera equipment will be allowed in the arena. Balloons, flowers, signs, and noisemakers of any kind will not be allowed in the arena.
There is a fee for parking at USF Yuengling Center. Here is the parking link for the graduations: https://www.parkwhiz.com/yuengling-center-parking/
Parents, please make sure you find our (PHS) specific graduation and purchase the parking for that graduation (May 31st ). It is my understanding that with fees, it comes to $13 ($5 in fees plus $8 for parking) on the link and on the Parkwhiz app. Disabled parking is located at Gate A and Gate D, Parking Lot Area 22F. Please plan for parking to take a few extra minutes. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

The graduates’ dress code for Baccalaureate and Graduation is as follows:
1. An appropriate Cap & Gown must be worn to participate.
2. Dress pants and dress shirt, a dress or skirt and blouse, or pantsuit are recommended outfits.
3. If wearing pants, wear matching dark socks with dress shoes. No sneakers, flip flops, etc. are allowed. No visible "bulky" jewelry, scarves, ribbons, etc. are permitted. We recommend that students do not wear high heels, as there will be a lot of walking and stair climbing.
Note: Anyone who does not meet the dress code requirements must return home to change their attire and return in proper dress and on time to participate in the event.
If meeting these dress code requirements presents a problem for a student, please have them contact Ms. Edwards, or Mrs. Kadlub at 352-524-5500.

Graduates will have their picture taken professionally as they receive their diploma on stage. Picture package options for this special moment will be made available to you through Gigante (813-907-1078). Please make sure your address is correct with PHS, as that is the address that we will provide to Gigante.
Upon completion of Graduation, graduates can pick up their diplomas in the same area they reported to upon arrival, The Corral. Only students who have officially completed their check out will be able to receive their diploma. Once picking up your diploma, you will need to exit the Yuengling Center. We recommend setting up a pre-arranged meeting place outside of the Yuengling Center with your family/guests.

Congratulations Class of 2024

Thank you,
Kari A. Kadlub
