Children and young people called for education that is relevant, inclusive, participatory and centred on human dignity. They emphasized critical thinking, human rights, practical life skills, mental health, cultural and linguistic diversity, digital literacy and environmental responsibility. They advocated for respectful and interactive pedagogies, flexible and inclusive learning environments and assessment methods that measure growth, creativity and the application of knowledge rather than primarily memorization and performance in high-stakes examinations. Their responses also highlighted structural barriers to reform, including underfunding, rigid institutional arrangements, political and commercial interests, exam culture and the limited participation of students in educational decisionmaking.
