It’s time to carve those pumpkins! Cutting and carving a pumpkin is the perfect activity to incorporate math. Measure and weigh one large and one small pumpkin before carving, measure and weigh the seeds, then compare the data. The 4th of July is almost here! A great way to teach your child about this special day is with a short story! One of my favorite read alouds on YouTube is "Fourth of July" by Sheri Dean and the Liberty Kids video is also another good resource.
