Are you ready for the Summer?

It is important to consider the experience new teachers will have on campus during their first few weeks on campus. The school culture and interactions they experience can either create a welcoming environment for the new teacher or it can suggest to them that they do not belong and lead to isolation and future separation.

📚 Building a School Culture of Retention 📚

Teacher retention begins with leadership, but it’s sustained by culture. When school leaders create an environment of trust, respect, and open communication, teachers feel like they’re part of something bigger than themselves.

Encouraging regular feedback, creating opportunities for professional development, and prioritizing teacher well-being are just a few ways we can show our educators how much they are valued. Let’s work together to build schools where teachers not only want to stay—but thrive. 🌱

Imagine walking into a school where everyone feels like they belong, where relationships are strong, and the community is united. That's what a collaborative campus is all about. It's not just a place for learning; it's a vibrant community where all stakeholders play a part in making the school a better place.

Creating a collaborative campus means thinking beyond teachers as collaborators. It's about involving everyone who cares about the school's success.

If schools do not have this, then we are missing effective leadership. These leaders need professional development, or they need to be replaced.
