Help shape the future of accessible lab infrastructure at the House of Biohealth .

Together with Paw Diagnostics , the House of BioHealth is exploring how laboratory infrastructure can become more accessible for start-ups, researchers, small companies and future entrepreneurs.

Many promising ideas never reach the experimental phase simply because access to suitable lab space, equipment and operational infrastructure is limited. Beyond instrumentation, practical questions often become barriers:

How can biohazardous waste be handled safely?
Where can essential consumables be sourced?
What infrastructure is needed to run initial experiments reliably?

At the HE:AL Campus, we aim to support innovation by creating an environment where ideas can be translated into practical work more easily.
To ensure that such an offering is aligned with real needs, we are currently gathering input from potential users.

👉 Participate in the survey and help shape future access to laboratory infrastructure:

Your perspective helps identify which equipment, services and support structures would be most valuable for early-stage innovation.

Building for the long term.
From the House of Biohealth to HE:AL Campus , the guiding principle has remained the same :
👉 creating favourable conditions for health innovation, without artificiality.

Today, HE:AL Campus represents the maturation of a trajectory shaped by experience, listening and real-world realities.
📩 Would you like to understand this evolution, visit the campus or exchange ideas ?

The conversation is open.

What the House of BioHealth taught us.
The first phase of the project was a laboratory in its own right.

It enabled us to clearly understand:
✔ what health projects truly need,
✔ the limits of overly standardised support models,
✔ the importance of places, connections and structure.

👉 HE:AL Campus builds on this hands-on experience, without starting from scratch.
Fewer promises, more structure.
Less rhetoric, more coherence.

The healthcare of tomorrow is built through multiple voices.
Researchers, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, institutional partners…
HE:AL Campus encourages cross-disciplinary exchanges and long-lasting synergies.
👉 Joining the campus means becoming part of a committed community focused on impact and collaboration.

📩 Do you have a project, an idea, or simply want to connect?
Let’s talk.

A health project deserves more than just an office.

HE:AL Campus offers an environment tailored to the realities of the health sector:
🔹 flexible workspaces
🔹 possibilities for laboratory or specialised office fit-outs
🔹 proximity to key sector players

The goal ?
👉 Enable teams to focus on what matters most: developing, testing and collaborating.
📍 A place that understands the sector’s constraints.

The House of BioHealth was not an end point. It was a step.
With hindsight, one thing became clear: health innovation goes far beyond hosting companies and providing laboratories.
👉 HE:AL Campus is the natural evolution of this first phase:
a broader, more open project that goes beyond incubation to structure a true health ecosystem.
Research, entrepreneurship, technological innovation, real-world use, public stakeholders…
Everything now converges towards a more global vision.

Innovate, yes. But for whom? And why?
At HE:AL Campus, innovation is not an end in itself.
It must respond to real-world uses, integrate into professional practices and tangibly improve patients’ daily lives.
👉 Technology, organisation, services, new models…
Every project has its place, as long as it contributes to healthcare that is more human, more sustainable and more accessible.
💬 Let’s talk about use cases, not just solutions.

An ecosystem, not a traditional incubator
HE:AL Campus is not just another incubator.
We do not promise a “turnkey” support programme for company creation.
👉 Instead, we offer a structured environment designed to allow health projects to develop in the right place, with the right partners.
✔ Adapted spaces (offices, laboratories, meeting areas)
✔ Connections to a broader health ecosystem
✔ Conditions conducive to collaboration and innovation
A framework. Connections. Purpose.

☕✨ Breakfast Event – Community
Around 30 participants gathered this morning for an informal and meaningful moment focused on one key objective: getting to know each other better within the community.
This event was dedicated to presenting some of the projects in our community, showcasing who they are, what they build, and how they contribute to the ecosystem.
Two companies introduced themselves and shared their work:
🔹 ZenZen
An application designed to support pregnant women in managing gestational diabetes in a structured, practical and reassuring way.
🔹 Paw Diagnostics
A company developing diagnostic solutions for veterinary medicine and training professionals in diagnostic technologies applied to animal health.
Different approaches, but a shared ambition: putting technology at the service of real-world needs.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the quality of the discussions.
Community grows through moments like these.

At the origin of the project
Before HE:AL Campus, there was a first cornerstone: the House of Biohealth
The House of Biohealth was created with a simple ambition:
👉 to offer Luxembourg a structured hosting environment for health, biotech and medtech projects, at a time when the ecosystem was still taking shape.

This first phase made it possible to:
• host innovative projects,
• test formats,
• identify the real needs of health stakeholders,
• lay the foundations of a functional ecosystem.

HE:AL Campus builds on this continuity.

The Vision
Rethinking health. Together.
Population ageing, chronic diseases, pressure on healthcare systems, accelerating technological change…
Healthcare is undergoing a profound transformation.
👉 HE:AL Campus was born from a simple conviction: the healthcare of tomorrow cannot be built in silos.
It must be conceived at the intersection of research, innovation, real-world use and on-the-ground realities.
Here, we foster connections, meaningful encounters and collective dynamics to help concrete solutions emerge.
