I made baklava last night for the first time using a recipe from cookidoo. Hands down the best baklava I've ever had and I'm Greek so I know what I'm talking about 😉

My daughter brought home some leftover plums from school yesterday...
So we made jam 😋

1kg of plums
300g sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
1/2 tsp ground cloves (optional)

• Remove the stones from the plums and add them into the mixing bowl alond with the rest of the ingredients
• blend everything for 10 seconds on speed 9
• cook for 45-60 mins on varoma temperature, speed 2, with the basket on the lid to prevent splatter
• pour hot jam into sterilised jars

If sealed properly, the jam can be kept in a cool dark place for up to a year. Once opened, refrigerate.

ENJOY!! 😁

What's the best thing to have with your homemade curry? Apart from beer of course...
Homemade Naan bread!! ✅

The dough literally takes 2 minutes to make! Leave it to rise for 2 hours in a slightly oiled, covered bowl.

Divide the dough up into 10 small balls, flatten out and heat up on a pan, 1min each side. Brush over some melted butter ...

Et Voila!! 🤤
