During the building process we pay attention to every detail as even the smallest one may cause considerable damage over a few years of the house exploitation. Our handmade log houses are advantageous and exceptional as they are built from naturally-shaped logs that are fully scribe-fitted to each other and interlocking shrink to fit corner notches sometimes referred to as the “Norwegian notch”. Every log is prepared individually – hand-planed with planner and drawknife, smoothed out and adjusted to other logs in the wall. Presumably we are the only builders in Lithuania who use the traditional log building tools made by the Norwegian blacksmiths. Our base is located in Skaisteriai village (only 28 km from the centre of Vilnius). It includes sawmill, wood kiln dryer suitable for the logs of 13 meters in length. We assemble log shells in facilities especially arranged for construction log buildings and protected from rain and snow
