✨ UNTRANSLATABLE SPANISH ✨

Some Spanish words express an idea so perfectly that they need a whole sentence in other languages.

Empalagoso is one of them.

It describes something that is so sweet, so affectionate, or so excessive that it becomes overwhelming or even a little annoying. 🤭

🍮 Food:
I ate so much dulce de leche that it became empalagoso.

💕 People:
That couple is so empalagosa—they’re always hugging, kissing, and saying “I love you.” 🤢❤️

Did you know that in Spanish, some words are written and pronounced exactly the same, but have completely different meanings depending on the context?

🥭 Mango = a delicious tropical fruit.
🍳 Mango = the handle of a pan, knife, or tool.
👕 Manga = the sleeve of a shirt or jacket.
🌳 Manga = a mango orchard or a group of mango trees.

Learning vocabulary is much more than memorising words—it’s about understanding how language works in real life.
