Did you know that in French, some final consonants are pronounced when the next word begins with a vowel?

✅ un ami → sounds like "uhn-na-mi"
✅ deux amis → sounds like "duh-zami"

This pronunciation rule is called *liaison* and it helps French sound smooth and natural.
