The Growth of God in Our Lives
Main Scripture:Proverbs 22:29
"Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank." β Proverbs 22:29
Introduction
As children of God, we are not called to remain the same. The moment we receive Christ, God begins a work of transformation in us. His Word produces growth, wisdom, excellence, and perfection. Every time we gather in God's house, we should leave changed because His presence never leaves a person unchanged.
1. We Are Different
As believers, we are different from the world because we belong to Christ. Our thinking, our speech, our actions, and our purpose are guided by God's Word.
God has separated us for His glory. We are called to pursue what interests Him and to live according to His will.
Since we are different, we must speak differently. The Word of God has creative power. We should speak life, declare God's promises, and confess what we desire to see instead of speaking fear, failure, or defeat.
2. God Gives Growth
Growth comes from God. When His Word is planted in our hearts, it produces success, knowledge, wisdom, and spiritual maturity.
The more we meditate on God's Word and obey it, the more we grow into the people He created us to be.
No one who faithfully comes into the house of God should remain the same. Every service should increase our faith, strengthen our character, and move us closer to God's purpose.
We are rich in the goodness of God. His blessings are not only material but also spiritual, filling our lives with grace, peace, wisdom, and strength.
3. We Are Perfect in Christ
God is perfect and lacks nothing. Since we are created in His image and have become new creations in Christ, we should live with the confidence that He is completing His perfect work in us.
In Christ, we have victory over sin, fear, and every limitation. His life in us brings healing, hope, peace, and purpose.
Perfection is God's desire for our lives. He continues to shape us into the image of His Son.
The One who called us is trustworthy. He is perfect, and He is faithful to complete what He has started in us.
