Mahlaseli Agricultural and Vocational institute of Experience Thaba Bosiu is situated in Thaba Bosiu Liolong in Maseru district, it is dedicated in equipping students with lifetime skills,knowledge and expertice necessary for job placement and useful job creation.
The institute is structured in to three(3) departments namely:
1.Agriculture department
2.Home Economics department
3.Design and Technology department

1.Agriculture
This programme is designed to enable students to:
a.Acquire knowledge and skills to address land degradation in Agricultural land.
b.Raise small and large stock efficiently and effectively using products that have been produced sustainably.
c.Produce crops and life stock through Climate Smart Agriculture
d.Add value to agricultural products.
2.Home Economics
In this programme,learners are equipped with knowledge and skills in the following:
a.Designing, drafting and sewing of the garments.
b.Creativity and innovation of crafts as well as interior design.
c.Cookery and food Preparation, food manufacturing, food service management and catering and baking science, technology and cake design and decoration.
d. Land Scapping and home management in order to take care of home environment in a sustainable way for improved livelihoods.
e.Decoration for various occasions.
3.Design and technology
This programme is designed to enable students to:
a. Develop creative thinking in areas relevant to design and technology
b. Apply problem solving skills to practical and technological skills using the available materials like wood and metal etc.
c. Design and make products,taking into consideration sustainability and the wider impact on society.
