ADDRESS BY THE BISHOP JUWLE HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR CLASS OF 2025/2026 PRESIDENT, SAMUEL YONLY
My fellow students, parents and guardians, members of the Administration and Faculty of Bishop Juwle High School, well-wishers, ladies and gentlemen.
I am overwhelmed with pride, gratitude, and joy as I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the students of the historic Class of Atina who successfully sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) /2025/2026. Whether you achieved the result you hoped for or faced disappointment, I commend you for your courage, perseverance, and determination throughout the journey.
I am especially grateful for the magnificent results achieved by our class. This remarkable accomplishment is an evidence of the countless hours of study, continuous research, late nights of preparation, sacrifices, determination, courage, and, above all, God's grace and guidance throughout the entire process.
I confidently term our triumph as “A REPETITION OF HISTORY”
Flashback to 2022/2023, when this same class sat the WACE at the ninth-grade level, we achieved a similarly outstanding result. All candidates who sat the examination successfully passed, including the two core subjects– MATHEMATICS and ENGLISH. That achievement was not merely remarkable; it was memorable.
Fast-forward to the 2025/2026 academic year, and this exceptional generation of scholars has reaffirmed that historic accomplishment. Out of the 88 students who sat the WASSCE, 87 successfully passed, including Mathematics and English. This is an achievement worthy of recognition and celebration.
Our generation deserves more than congratulations; we deserve a befitting celebration and recognition program that honors our achievements while inspiring us to remain dedicated, courageous in the face of challenges, and committed to the pursuit of excellence.
However, as we celebrate the success of our students, let us not forget those whose contributions made this achievement feasible.
Our DECEASED SPONSOR: NO celebration of the Class of Atina would be complete without honoring the memory of our late class sponsor, Mr. Moses D. Wolojo. 🕊️💔
Though he is no longer with us, his generosity, encouragement, and commitment to our class remain an unforgettable part of our journey. He believed in young people, supported our dreams, and contributed meaningfully to the progress and success we celebrate today.
His life reminds us that true leadership is measured not by titles, but by the positive impact one makes in the lives of others.
As we celebrate our achievement, we pause to honor his memory and the legacy he left behind. Though he has departed this world, his kindness and service will forever remain etched in the hearts of the Class of Atina and the history of Bishop Juwle High School.
May Almighty God grant him eternal rest, and may his legacy continue to inspire generations to come. 🕊️
Henceforth, Permit to onbehalf of the senior class unequivocally extend our deepest appreciation to the Administration of Bishop Juwle High School, our dedicated faculty members, parents/guardians, our class sponsor, and all well-wishers for their tireless efforts and unwavering support.
Your resilience, dedication, prayers, encouragement, sacrifices, and commitment helped push us beyond our perceived limitations. Kindly be acknowledged that you are not merely spectators in this achievement. You are an INTEGRAL PART of it. This is the true meaning of “COLLABORATIVE EFFORT”.
To you all, we owe a debt of gratitude that words can hardly be articulated.
Meanwhile, To my fellow prospect graduates of this historic class, as we move forward to pursue higher education and greater opportunities, I wish each and every one of you success, fulfilment and the courageus spirit to tackle perplexed situations. May your future endeavors be defined by courage, strength, wisdom, discipline, and humility.
As you step into the wider world, remain patient and positive. You will encounter challenges, setbacks, and moments of uncertainty, but never allow them to convince you that you are incapable of greatness. I have absolutely no skepticism about your abilities. I strongly believe that, by God's grace and mercy, you possess the intellectual strength and determination to distinguish yourselves wherever life takes you.
REMEMBER: “success is not the end of the journey; it is an invitation to pursue something greater.”
Let us therefore carry the name and values of Bishop Juwle High School with pride. Let our achievements become a cornerstone upon which even greater accomplishments are established. Wherever we go, may we continue to demonstrate the discipline, resilience, and excellence that have brought us this far.
In conclusion, on behalf of the Senior Class of 2025/2026, I extend our profound appreciation to our parents and guardians, teachers, administrators, class sponsor, friends, and every well-wisher who invested time, resources, prayers, and encouragement in us.
We are grateful. We are honored. We are indebted to you all.
