Voinjama Central Academy has worked hard to create a challenging, safe, and rewarding environment for our students. Led by dedicated staff and teachers and supported by a long tradition of parental involvement, we’ve been able to achieve our goals of providing superior educational and developmental opportunities for our students, and having a positive impact on the surrounding community. Voinjama Central Academy (VCA) is an independent educational institution based on International principles, whose mission is to educate students intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially in a trusting and caring environment. The Academy offers standard educational programs like any other school in Liberia and also offers extra curricula programs as well as Vocational courses for adult learners. The Academy was founded in 2009 to serve the people of Lofa County. It is one of the largest schools established in Liberia and is one of the best schools in Lofa County. VCA offers private educational services to students from September to June, and provides fulltime teaching at all stages of education: Preschool, Elementary, Junior High and Senior High. English is the main language of instruction, however French is taught as second language. VCA’s education is consistent with the standards established by the Liberian Government. More specifically, the Academy is committed to teaching the curriculum as prescribed by the Ministry of Education. VCA is governed by a Board of Directors of elected parents and other members of our local community. We also have a busy Parent Teaching Association (PTA) that organizes social events and fund-raising activities.

The Mande Common Alphabet is the only alphabet that's suitable for writing any language belonging to the Mande Language Group as well as many other language groups.
Some of the languages that can be written using this 'Maniýa Alphabet' are the Vai, Gola, Belle, Kpelleh, Mandingo, Gbandi, Kissi, Mende, Bassa, Gio, Mano, Krahn, Kru, Grebo and many more.
