Hello everyone,
Gbarmore is a town situated in Senjeh district, Bomi County. These kids in the picture are not going to school for so many reasons. Considering the importance of early childhood education, OPLEY EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION has decided to partner with the community to bridge that gap, this will enable them to be productive adults in the future.
We are inviting you to join hands with us as we help these kids.

OPLEY Educational Foundation started as a result of a major gap identified in a village called Gbamore. Situated in Sinje District, Bomi County, Gbamore is home to 286 inhabitants living in about 62 houses. Children between the ages of 3 to 10 years make up for approximately 20% of the population.
These mentioned kids have no opportunity to early childhood education, as most all of their seniors start preschool from age 11 years and onward. Having realized their denial to education at a tender age, OPLEY was established to provide them preschool at the right age.

As a headstart, the idea was presented to the leadership of the village through several meetings. The village bought the idea and thus decided to offer a parcel of land to build huts. The idea is to use local materials to erect structures that would be used as the initial training center for homeschooling. Their participation is indicative of a people willing to embrace development.
