Today, the entire staff of Geolanda Community High School came together for our year-end gathering under the theme "All Staff Affairs."
It was truly a colorful, memorable, and inspiring occasion. Throughout the gathering, we reflected on our achievements, discussed the challenges we encountered during the academic year, and explored practical strategies to further improve our institution and strengthen our commitment to quality education.
This remarkable event marks a historic milestone, being the first of its kind in the school's history in decades. It served not only as a time of fellowship and celebration but also as an opportunity to renew our shared vision, promote teamwork, and reaffirm our dedication to the continued growth and success of Geolanda Community High School.

Nepal National and AML Staff Arrested in Ganta for Alleged R**e of Minor and Drug Possession
Ganta, Nimba County - A 46-year-old Nepali national, identified as Ruggas Navin and believed to be an employee of ArcelorMittal, has been arrested and is currently detained at the Ganta Police Station for allegedly ra**ng a 15-year-old girl. The alleged incident reportedly occurred at the Alvino Hotel.
According to police, the suspect remains in custody awaiting court trial while
investigations continue.
Meanwhile, the Liberia Drug Enforcement
Agency (LDEA) has confirmed that the
suspect was also found in possession of
marijuana at the time of his arrest. The
LDEA's Nimba County detachment has
launched an investigation to determine the quantity and street value of the substance, which will be included in the formal charge sheet.
Speaking to reporters, the victim alleged that she first met the suspect while selling in the market, where he approached her and requested her phone number. She stated that he later began giving her money and food, which led to several meetings between them.
The victim further alleged that on February 26, the suspect invited her out at night, where the alleged sexual assault took place and they have since been into a relationship.
Authorities say the case was later reported to community members and family, which led to the suspect's arrest by law enforcement officers.
The Liberia National Police in Ganta have
assured the public that the case is under
active investigation and that the suspect will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
