Happy International Day of the Girl! Bosh Bosh celebrated this special today by inviting Salala local, Ellen Sumo to be our guest speaker. Ellen is currently a Business Manager at the Land Mines Action and Tumutu Agricultural training program and is a female advocate. Ellen spoke to our scholars and their parents about the importance of girls education and how parent involvement is key to their development. Ellen emphasized that parents should encourage & support their daughters in their education, and most importantly always be their number one advocate for their rights.
Today we celebrate all girls around the world! Happy Day of the Girl Child!

Bosh Bosh reunited with our scholars in Mexico this Friday evening and distributed school supplies to each of our 10 students. It was a special day getting together with them and their families, and being around each other. Fortunately all our scholars and their families have been safe during the pandemic and have been focusing on the positive and creative aspects of these challenging times.
As an update, all our scholars are back in school and are still taking online classes, which seems to be the case through out the country. They hope to return to school one day soon and see their friends and teachers. But in the meantime, we provided each scholar with a whole set of school supplies and backpacks and also brain stormed ideas for community led projects! We’re incredibly excited to be working together again soon and making a small difference in our local communities. So keep an eye out for these beautiful & courageous scholars!!

Happy International Day of the Girl!!! This day is always special because it reminds us of how beautiful, strong and resilient girls are 🙌🏼
Bosh Bosh Liberia celebrated by having a round table discussion on the theme of the day which is “My voice, our equal future”. They also discussed our scholars plans for their future, how their voice inspires others and most importantly how their voice can change their own future. Our scholars also watched the film, and how it reflects on their daily lifestyle.
To all the girls around the world, know that you are worthy, you are heard and you are your own best advocate!! So never be afraid to be heard ✨ Happy day of the girl!!

We're a few days away from finishing 1,100 face masks!!!
We'd like to thank Friends of Liberia (FOL) for their continued support, and for providing Bosh Bosh Liberia with a grant to help produce face masks for the Liberian community in order to help control the spread of COVID19. We know that by using face masks we are helping combat the spread of this virus, along with constant hand washing and social distancing.
We are incredibly grateful to you FOL, for all the work you have done over the years in Liberia, for your trust in our organization and for your constant love and dedication towards Mama Liberia and Bosh Bosh.
We hope to continue providing our services to help combat COVID19! Together we will get through this!!!
