WONGOSOL To Induct New Corps Of Officers.

Monrovia, February 1, 2024] – The Women's NGOs Secretariat of Liberia (WONGOSOL) will on Friday, February 2, 2024, induct its new board members to steer the Affairs of the institution for the next two(2) years.

The induction ceremony follows the institution's recent biennial General Assembly (GA) held in Gbarnga, B**g county on December 19, 2023, under the theme: "Promoting Women Leadership In Our Growing Democracy: A Call To Action."

At the Assembly, members elected eight(8) Board Members including four Regional Coordinators. This is in fulfillment of the constitution which state that Board members are to provide institutional oversight and supervision of WONGOSOL for two years.

Those elected include: Facia B. Harris, Chairperson, Paramount Young Women, Nelly Cooper 1st Vice Chairperson, West Point Women, Victoria Torlo Koiquah 2nd Vice, PEACE- Liberia. Esther S. Davis Yango, Secretary, WONGOSOL, Laura Bee Kiepo, Financial Secretary, Women Empowerment Forum, Jannet O. Paye, Region 1Coordinator, Women Care Initiative, Kona Kollie, Region 2 Coordinator, Young Liberian Women Organization for Improvement, Laura Targbeh Korvah, Region 3 Coordinator, Young Women Political Council of Liberia and Grace Scottland Brimah, Region 4 Coordinator, We$SELF.

Meanwhile, the event will take place at Sharke Business Center on the Airfield in Sinkor.
