A Productive Visit from the Ministry of Education

Today, we were honored to receive a representative from the Ministry of Education at our institution. The visit focused on a comprehensive review of our professional training curriculum and syllabus.

During the engagement, we held fruitful discussions on strengthening and enhancing our curriculum to ensure it continues to meet national standards and the evolving needs of the workforce. The representative also toured our facilities and assessed our current learning environment.

At the conclusion of the visit, he acknowledged and commended our institution for its commitment to promoting quality education, empowering individuals through professional training, and producing competent professionals who can contribute meaningfully to national development.

This visit serves as an encouragement for us to remain committed to excellence and continuous improvement in delivering high-quality professional education.

Meet Our Facilitator: Mr. Samuel K. Kollie Jr.

The Innovative Africa Institute of Professional Studies (IAIPS) is pleased to introduce Mr. Samuel K. Kollie Jr. as a Facilitator for Procurement, Logistics and Contract Management and Healthcare Management and Policy.

Mr. Kollie is a distinguished Public Health and Development Professional, Healthcare Administrator, Procurement and Logistics Specialist, and Institutional Leader with over fifteen (15) years of professional experience in health systems strengthening, procurement and supply chain management, project implementation, organizational leadership, and community development.

Through his years of service, he has demonstrated exceptional capacity in designing, coordinating, and managing impactful programmes that strengthen institutions, improve healthcare delivery systems, and promote sustainable development.

Mr. Kollie holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Medical Laboratory Science and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Public Health, supported by extensive professional training and certifications in Project Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Operational Management, Leadership, Logistics and Procurement, and Participatory Hygiene and Sanitation Transformation (PHAST).

He is also advancing his professional expertise through a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Procurement and Logistics Management, further strengthening his knowledge in strategic procurement, supply chain leadership, business operations, and institutional management.

His academic background, combined with years of practical experience, reflects his commitment to continuous learning, professional excellence, and strengthening Africa’s human resource capacity.

Mr. Kollie has built an outstanding career working with government institutions, development partners, healthcare organizations, and community-based initiatives, contributing to programmes in healthcare, education, WASH, infrastructure development, and community resilience.

His leadership experience has significantly contributed to improving operational systems, strengthening organizational capacity, and ensuring effective coordination of complex programmes and projects.

Currently, he serves as the Principal of Sumo Moye Memorial School System, where he provides strategic leadership in academic administration, quality improvement, staff development, institutional planning, and organizational management.

His experience as both a healthcare professional and education administrator enables him to connect professional theories with practical realities, providing learners with valuable insights that prepare them for success in today’s competitive professional environment.

Mr. Kollie is passionate about developing competent professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities required to transform organizations and communities.

His expertise in procurement systems, healthcare management, policy development, logistics operations, and institutional leadership positions him as a valuable resource person for professionals seeking to enhance their careers and contribute effectively to national and international development.

Meet Our Facilitator – Environmental and Social Impact Assessment

Anthony S. Gebur, Jr.

The Innovative Africa Institute of Professional Studies (IAIPS) is honored to introduce Anthony S. Gebur, Jr. as the facilitator for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA).

A passionate environmental professional with a strong commitment to sustainability, scientific research, and academic excellence, Mr. Gebur brings a wealth of international exposure and practical experience to the classroom. He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Science from Graphic Era (Deemed to be) University, India, where he graduated as Valedictorian and received multiple awards for outstanding academic achievement. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry from the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU), Liberia.

Mr. Gebur has served as an Environmental Analyst with Econ Laboratory & Consultancy LLP, India, where he contributed to environmental monitoring, water quality analysis, wastewater treatment studies, pollution control, and Environmental Impact Assessment assignments. His professional expertise spans environmental laboratory techniques, biodiversity conservation, environmental monitoring, research methodology, and sustainable development practices.

Beyond his technical expertise, he is an accomplished educator who has inspired students through the teaching of Biology, Physics, and Mathematics, fostering critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and practical problem-solving skills. His learner-centered approach equips students with both theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

As the facilitator for Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), Mr. Gebur is dedicated to preparing participants to evaluate development projects responsibly, identify environmental and social risks, recommend effective mitigation measures, and promote sustainable, community-centered decision-making. His classes combine global best practices with practical insights relevant to Liberia and Africa's environmental challenges.

With his exceptional academic record, international research experience, and unwavering dedication to environmental stewardship, Anthony S. Gebur, Jr. stands as an inspiring mentor committed to shaping the next generation of environmental professionals and sustainability leaders.

Meet Our Facilitator: Mr. Mohammed Dominic Clarence Kaba

The Innovative Africa Institute of Professional Studies (IAIPS) is honored to introduce Mr. Mohammed Dominic Clarence Kaba as the Facilitator for School Administration and Supervision.

Mr. Kaba is a distinguished educational leader, administrator, scholar, and mentor whose dedication to academic excellence and institutional development continues to transform lives and strengthen educational systems in Liberia and beyond.

Mr. Kaba holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration and Supervision from Shimane University, Matsue, Shimane, Japan (March 2023). His graduate studies were fully funded through the prestigious Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship, a highly competitive international award granted to outstanding scholars demonstrating exceptional academic merit and leadership potential.

During his studies in Japan, he served as a Volunteer Lecturer with the Shimane University Talkative Students English Club, contributing to cross-cultural learning and educational exchange.

He also successfully completed a Preparatory Japanese Language Course at Tottori University, Japan (October 2021 – March 2022), further strengthening his international academic experience and global perspective on education.

Mr. Kaba earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Economics from the University of Liberia (March 2021) and an Associate of Arts Degree in School Administration (Magna Cum Laude) from LICOSESS College of Education (December 2016), demonstrating a strong foundation in both educational leadership and organizational management.

Mr. Kaba has built an impressive record of service and leadership within Liberia's educational sector.

He previously served as Vice Principal for Student Affairs at The Salvation Army Len Millar High School in Sinkor, where he played a pivotal role in student development, discipline, and academic coordination.

Currently, he serves as Principal of The Salvation Army Bramwell Booth High School in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, providing visionary leadership and advancing quality education for the next generation of Liberian students.

In higher education, he serves as Chairman of the Department of School Administration at LICOSESS College of Education, Site 2, where he is actively involved in training and mentoring future educational leaders and administrators.

Mr. Kaba's professional journey reflects a deep commitment to educational excellence, effective school leadership, student success, and institutional growth. His combination of international exposure, academic achievement, practical administrative experience, and passion for mentorship makes him an exceptional resource person in the field of educational administration and supervision.

As a facilitator, he brings a wealth of knowledge, real-world experience, and innovative leadership strategies that will empower participants with the skills necessary to manage educational institutions effectively, promote academic excellence, and inspire positive change within their schools and communities.
