Giddings College Academy is a nonprofit learning spot, a smaller version of Giddings College of Health Sciences. Right now, we cater to students from Class 4 to Class 11, and we’re all about making a difference rather than just making money. The school’s management has set up this place to help create health heroes ready to tackle the issues in our health system.

At Giddings College, we offer Allied Health Sciences electives like Nursing Aide and Laboratory Aide. Our vision is clear: “Making Tomorrow Better.” Additionally, we have a variety of fun and educational programs, including Public Speaking, Creative Writing, a Health Club, a Peace Club, a Debate Club, a Spelling Club, and a Quizzing Club. These activities are designed to help young students in Kakata, Harbel, Weala, and even beyond Liberia grow academically and personally.

Education is more than just passing exams or the old system of acquisition of knowledge in our system that is yet to be redefined holistically. It is about young people to live with purpose. That is why Giddings College Academy, the microcosm of Giddings College of Health Sciences, is accepting students from Grade 4 to Grade 11 - with a focus on guiding them into healthcare disciplines early.

On Saturday, August 23rd is the final entrance exam. On top of that, there will still be limited walk-in admissions until school officially opens, but truly this is your chance to secure a space for your child. Doc. Dia Fei made a powerful decision to think differently about his community. In a world where young people need direction and mentorship, he saw a path or journey: by training them early in disciplines that save lives.

At Giddings College Academy students are mentored, academically advised and guided to choose between nursing and Laboratory Aid pathways even at the grade school level. They learn not only academics, but also discipline, service, and the ideals of healthcare. We at GCA believe that if they start early, they lead strongly tomorrow. A Heartfelt Tribute to the Late Dr. Amos T. Paye
Former President, Giddings College of Health Sciences

With hearts heavy yet grateful, the Administration, staff, and students of Giddings College Academy join the larger Giddings family in mourning the passing of a remarkable leader and visionary, Dr. Amos Paye, the former President of Giddings College of Health Sciences.

As the high school extension and microcosm of the great institution he helped shape, we at Giddings College Academy feel this loss deeply. Dr. Paye was more than an academic leader. He was a builder of dreams, a quiet strength, a father figure to many, and a shining light in the corridors of education and service. His legacy is etched in the values we uphold: excellence, compassion, integrity, and the unyielding belief in the transformative power of education.

Though he may have transitioned from this life, his impact lives on in every individual he taught, every mind molded, and every life lifted through education across the Giddings family. His dream for a better Liberia through knowledge continues through us all.

We send our deepest condolences to his family, colleagues, students, and all who were touched by his life and work. May his soul rest in perfect peace and may his legacy continue to guide our steps.

May was an incredible month, and we look forward to June with even greater hope.

In May, Giddings College was honored to become a member of the Global Medical Libraries (GML). As part of this partnership, GML is now preparing a large consignment of medical books for the College. This donation will mark the opening of the first-ever medical library in Kakata, a groundbreaking achievement for our community and institution.

And now, as we enter June, I’m filled with gratitude and expectation. This month, Giddings College will conclude its first academic semester. This is no small feat. From the painful decision to walk away from Giddings Polytechnic, a choice driven by the need to stand for integrity in the face of deceit, we started over. From the ground up, we built something new, something honest, and something resilient. And today, Giddings College stands strong.

But the journey didn’t stop there. We also established Giddings College Academy a new high school grounded in excellence and purpose. This month, the school will host its first-ever Queen Contest on June 20. Our students, divided into four Houses, will celebrate the legacies of four remarkable individuals who have made immense contributions to Margibi County and Liberia:

✔️Jeety House
✔️Hon. Nuquay House
✔️JJ Sankaituah House

Members of each House will strive to become like their master, studying their life, philosophy, and values and the house owners will serve as direct mentors and role models to our students. Four exceptional young female students, each representing these Houses, will compete in the Queen Contest. We can’t wait to witness this celebration of leadership, intellect, and grace.
