Good morning. This is the university of Liberia. The state owned university. We thought to bring it to your view for you to know how deplorable and hostile it's. This is the place where we go to learn. This is the kind of environment the government keeps subjecting us to. Sometimes I ask myself, is this the same kind of university their children attend? This is one of the reasons the teachers have refused to teach. This place is too dirty, nasty, filthy and stink to teach and learn in. The environments of the university is not comfortable and conducive for academic activities. Such area is a disease infested place. Look at the buildings, classes and environments, a complete mess.

We have been speaking against this bad conditions of the university for a long time. These people in power only wait for situations to get worsened before they do anything. Now, teachers have laid down their markers/ chalks and students are sitting home. This is unacceptable. Education must never be tempered with. Education is our future. We won't allow anyone to play with it. Your children in Europe and America attaining quality education in conducive and comfortable environments and you are here playing fun with ours, no, we won't accept this. Education shouldn't be treated as opportunity cost. For no other thing must you think to use education as close substitute. Education is perfectly inelastic. It must be prioritised by all costs and all means.

Hear these other sad narratives of the university of Liberia. The university of Liberia is the only university where when a student goes to use the restroom, he or she is told that there's no water and sometimes the restrooms are closed on the campuses. A public gathering area, doggit!

Students of the state premiere university don't have access to accessible and available internet connectivity. This modern day, it's still the dream of the students to see this happening.

The university can't boast of a well-furnished, well-equipped and sophisticated laboratory or library. This is so pathetic and disgraceful. Where are we heading, if education can't be prioritised? This is just a tip of the iceberg.

As you can see in these photos, the university of Liberia is the only university on the planet wherein students mingle with cattle on campus and even visit them in classes at times. The last time a female student was hit by one of those cattles and she went unconscious.

The situations at the university of Liberia is an emergency situations. There is an urgent need to rescue the state from this national disgrace of opprobrium.
