Public Service Announcement

The Ministry of Education Announces Reopening of all Schools. The Ministry of Education has officially released the academic calendar for 2023/2024 which applies to all schools(ECE-Grade 12 operating in Liberia). An extract from that provides as follows:

* August 1-31, 2023 ---- Registration (31days)

* August 30- September 1, 2023 ---- Orientation (3days)

* September 4, 2023---- Classes begin

* Friday October 6, 2023---- Suspension of Classes for 2023 Elections

* Tuesday October 10, 2023---- National Elections Day

* Monday October 16, 2023 ----- Resumption of Classes, first period continues

The Ministry further instructs that all fees (Registration to Graduation) should be published in the schools bulletin for the year.

Fees not mentioned in the bulletin at the beginning of the school year cannot be imposed subsequently.

Finally, this announcement should claim the attention of parents, School Administrators, and Education stakeholders in the Republic of Liberia.
