The Bible Gives Hope

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalms 34:18

Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'

Today we are learning about God's promises to us as Christians. See, throughout the Holy Bible, there are over 1000 promises from God to mankind, and for today's devotion, we are focusing on this significant promise made by God to us believers.

Occasionally, we are disturbed by the trials and temptations of our earthly lives until we forget about the hope and assurance the Bible brings to us as believers. Yeah, I know, life can be unfair sometimes, but what if we could just pause for a moment and reflect on God's promises? Imagine knowing that through thick and thin, God will be on our side. When we face health problems, when we struggle financially, when we struggle with our Christian life, it is easy to get depressed over the small stuff, but what if we look up to God during our darkest period? I guess we will be okay when we scroll through the promises of God; our hope and strength will be renewed.

According to Isaiah 43:2, God reminds us, When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

Yeah, you got that right. God reminds us that we will go through bad days, we will pass through troubled waters, and we will face trials and temptations, but the most important message is that he will be with us. And because he will be with us, these things we will face will never overcome us.
Isn't this worth celebrating? Of course, it is.

And so as we go out today, remember that we are standing on a rock that never fails; we are serving the true and living God, and in all ages, he will always be by our side.
