Today we concluded our one month vacation program at Xavier Jesuit School, Liberia. It was a wonderful experience for all participants especially our students and staff. Besides intensive academic activities, our students learned everyday skills that will nurture their intellectual, moral, emotional, and spiritual growth. We awarded several gifts items to the best group projects under various categories. At Xavier Jesuit School, we connect classroom learning with community action to shape "men and women for and with others".
A special thanks to Mr. George Dunor and Mrs. Beatrice Kanu who were the principal and vice principal for instruction during the vacation program. We are deeply grateful and look forward to next year vacation program experience. , , , ,

Xavier Jesuit School, Liberia congratulates all Liberians as we celebrate and honor our nation’s freedom, sovereignty and the historic design of our flag 🇱🇷 by a committee of seven women led by Susannah Elizabeth Lewis (1814-1873). The flag was first hoisted on August 24, 1847 shortly after Liberia declared independence on July 26,1847. However, it was in October 1915 after President Daniel E. Howard signed it into law that National Flag Day became an official national holiday in Liberia. It was introduced to foster patriotism, national pride and a deep respect for the national symbol across the country. Happy Flag Day and long live Liberia 🇱🇷 , , .
