𝑆𝑖𝑛𝑜𝑒 𝐶𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡𝑦, 𝐺𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑛𝑣𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒 𝐶𝑖𝑡𝑦— On October 18, 2024, delegates from the 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘖𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 (𝑈𝑁𝐼𝐷𝑂), YouthRising, and the 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘯 recently visited the 𝑆𝑀𝐻𝑆-𝑇𝑉𝐸𝑇 Center in Sinoe County for an assessment and observation. The visit focused on evaluating the various departments, including engaging with trainers and teachers across the facility.

During the assessment, the partners encouraged students from all departments to take full advantage of the educational opportunities available at the center. They emphasized the importance of actively pursuing skills development to improve future prospects. Additionally, the partners urged the administration to promote inclusivity by encouraging more girls and women to participate in all departments, ensuring equal opportunities for all.

The principal of both 𝑆𝑀𝐻𝑆 and the 𝑇𝑉𝐸𝑇 Center expressed gratitude to the visiting partners for their support and commitment. He further requested that the remaining equipment and additional trainers be sent to the institution to enhance the training programs and overall quality of education.

Did You Know Since 2018, the 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 has invested €𝟐𝟓.𝟐𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 in Liberia’s 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗩𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗧𝗩𝗘𝗧) sector through the 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲 1! This initiative is empowering young Liberians by providing access to high-quality, demand-driven 𝗧𝗩𝗘𝗧, building a brighter future for all.

Through Phase I, the project has transformed the 𝗧𝗩𝗘𝗧 landscape by upgrading 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝘀 with modern 𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, enhancing 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, training 𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, and 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 cutting-edge 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮.
