BRIEF HISTORY

The Bible College initially named “The Gbarnga School of Preaching and Biblical Studies” was established in 1996 during the heat of the Liberian civil conflict. The negative impact of the 14 years of civil conflict actually presented a compelling need for a robust evangelistic training school predicated upon the need to respond to the acute shortage of trained men power in the brotherhood (preachers, youths, teachers and church leaders); to restore falling churches and to embark upon the planting of new ones. Most importantly, the school was established to further equip members in the wake of the proliferation of potential threats posed by theological institutions owned and operated by major denominations in B**g County.

MISSION STATEMENT

In devotion and gratitude to God, and in spreading the Kingdom message, Central Liberia Bible College exists for the purpose of building and equipping Christian leaders in Liberia, the sub region and globally through a sound Theological based education for the propagation of the Kingdom of God on earth. To also prepare and equip the heart of each individual Christian in contributing meaningfully to the implementation of the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20) while at the same time winning souls from the power of darkness into the Kingdom of Christ.

VISION

Central Liberia Bible College envisages a highly and standard religious institution that provides a sound and balanced biblical orientation thus contributing to the spiritual transformation of the community of believers in the service of their Master and Creator. The College also envisages a vibrant Christian college whose graduates will serve as true ambassadors of Christ thereby opening doors for those that have not heard the true gospel of Christ in the rural parts of Liberia and contributing to the task of nation building through the acquiring of other professional skills.
