The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Liberia, Hon. Richard Nagbe Koon, will serve as Guest Speaker at the 2026 B**g County Educational Champions Honor, College Discovery Tour & Career Symposium, scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2026.

This landmark educational event will recognize and honor distinguished sons and daughters of B**g County who have made significant contributions to education through various scholarship programs and youth empowerment initiatives.

These outstanding leaders will be formally gown and celebrated for their impact in shaping the future of education in the county and beyond.

In addition, the program will host an exciting College Discovery Tour, where over 400 high school students are expected to visit and explore the beauty, academic environment, and opportunities available at our prestigious campus.

All scholarship beneficiaries under any of the honored leaders are encouraged to prepare accordingly, bring your gowns and flowers as we come together to celebrate excellence, leadership, and service.

This is more than an event, it is a celebration of achievement, inspiration, and the pathway to higher education.

Commuter Students Association Fund Raising Rally Dinner Night

Senator Prince Kermue Moye Sr. has pledged to provide a bus for commuter students at Cuttington University during the launch of a fundraising program on campus in Suakoko District. Drawing from his own experience as a former commuter student, he encouraged students to stay committed to their goals.

He also promised to fund a Faculty Lounge for the College of Business and Public Administration at a cost of US$7,020, along with 150 heavy-duty plastic chairs and tables for the newly renovated student center.

Update!

The Sports Director of Cuttington University, Mr. Joseph D. Wenneh along with organizers of the 2026 Inter-College League, has presented cash awards to the winning teams that participated in the just-concluded competition.

The College of Business and Public Administration (COBPA) emerged as the overall champion, securing first place in the following categories:

First Place (Champions) πŸ†
Football
Basketball
Volleyball
Debate

The Herbert & Marion Donovan College of Health Sciences (HMDCHS) claimed the championship title in the Kickball category.
Meanwhile, the Emmet A. Dennis College of Natural Sciences (EADCNS) finished as runner-up in multiple categories.
