Tarwoe - Visionary Eagle 🦅

Meet Leader Emmanuel N. Gweh, Director of Communications at the National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE), Liberia.
Emmanuel is a passionate Liberian professional with over nine years of experience in higher education. Born in Montserrado County, he has served in various leadership roles including

Emmanuel has played a key role in strengthening internal quality systems, advocating for scholarships, and improving communication within the NCHE. His dedication also extends to national service, having served at the National Election Commission and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

He holds a Bachelor’s in Public Administration from the University of Liberia and is currently pursuing a Master of Education at AME Zion University.
He also holds a Diploma in monitoring and Evaluation at the Visionary School of Leadership and Development.

He will also serve as Speaker at the Upcoming The Visionary Leadership Summit.
Emmanuel is known for his strong leadership, communication skills, and deep commitment to youth and education development in Liberia.

In a defining moment for the future of African leadership, the Visionary School of Leadership and Development (VSOLAD) proudly graduated 150 young Liberian professionals from its Executive Graduate Program, Cohort 37.

The graduation ceremony, held in Monrovia, celebrated a new wave of emerging leaders equipped to take on the challenges of today’s dynamic world.

The atmosphere was one of joy, reflection, and renewed purpose as the graduates, drawn from diverse professional and academic backgrounds, received certificate and diplomas marking the successful completion of an intensive leadership development journey.

Delivering the keynote address was Mr. Duku Jallah, Head of Secretariat for the Youth Legislative Caucus of the Republic of Liberia. In his compelling speech, Mr. Jallah emphasized the critical role of youth leadership in shaping the nation’s future and called on the graduates to become bold torchbearers of transformation.

VSOLAD has earned a reputation as a premier non-governmental international institute based in Kigali, Rwanda committed to empowering visions, inspiring leaders, and nurturing the potential of young African changemakers.

The institution’s Executive Graduate Program continues to redefine the standard of leadership education across the continent, merging passion with purpose and innovation with tradition.

At the heart of Vsolad’s model is its dynamic learning environment, led by a faculty of world-class lecturers and leadership experts.
The school prides itself on its unique and innovative approach, ensuring that students don't just learn leadership in theory but live it in practice. The curriculum instills not only knowledge but also ethical values, emotional intelligence, and a deep understanding of human dynamics essential for visionary leadership.

In a special highlight of the event, 15 alumni and professionals were honored with the Leadership and Ambassador Award, recognizing their outstanding contributions to community development, advocacy, and leadership excellence. These individuals represent the impact of Vsolad's mission in action—leaders who are not just trained but transformed.

Founder and CEO Otis Togbah Tarwoe expressed his admiration for the graduating class.
“These 150 professionals have not only completed a challenging academic journey but have also embraced the vision of transformative leadership,” Mr. Tarwoe noted. “We are confident that they will become influential change-makers, innovators, and pioneers in their respective fields.”
The ceremony also acknowledged the vital role played by Vsolad’s international partners, faculty, and lecturers, whose contributions continue to shape the program’s outstanding success.

As these new graduates step into the next phase of their personal and professional journeys, Vsolad reaffirms its commitment to raising leaders who are equipped to address complex global challenges and drive sustainable development across Africa and beyond.
