LICC Students Elect New Students’ Council Leader

The student community of the Liberia International Christian College (LICC) has voted to replace its Students’ Council leader following a peaceful and highly anticipated election.

The institution hosts two political parties: the Students Unification Party (SUP), led by Zlanwonseh Jimmy Drogbay Gaye, and the Students Academic Operation Party (SAOP), represented by Dekontee Flomo Howard.

A total of 328 students participated in the election. Of the votes cast, the Students Unification Party secured 194 votes, while the Students Academic Operation Party received 116 votes.

Following the tally, the Students Council Election Commission officially declared Zlanwonseh Jimmy Drogbay Gaye the winner of the 2025 Students’ Council Election.

Students and faculty are extending their congratulations to Gaye and his team for their victory and for contributing to a peaceful and orderly election process.

Liberia International Christian College (LICC) is one of the leading higher education institutions in Liberia, currently operating six departments: Agriculture, Business, Education, Nursing, and Theology.
