As an institution that honors African history, we celebrate the “African Child’s Day” Every year in honor of the students that were k!lled during the 1976 Soweto uprising.
During this event, we also celebrate our African’s culture. Students are divided into four groups ( Mighty Eagle, Winners, Conquerers, and Angels).
On the day of the celebration, there’s also competition in African dishes, African costumes and African dances among the four groups.
For us, this day is not just about the South African history, it’s about showing the rest of the world the decent culture and traditions of Africa especially Liberia.
With the many activities in the school of late, this year’s celebration was done on June 19.
It was an amazing day yesterday as all our students came fully prepared in their respective African attires.
Stay posted as we will keep bringing you updates from yesterday’s event.
