Every year, the world loses over $1.19 trillion in economic potential because of learning poverty.

In Liberia, more than 1 in 5 children aged 6–14 are out of school, left behind by systems that were meant to serve them.

At CLA, we refuse to stand by. We are building classrooms where there were none and futures where there was once silence.

Across the world, 244 million children are out of school. In Liberia alone, 1 in 5 children aged 6 to 14 are denied a basic education.

At CLA, we are bridging that gap, starting in a village that had no school for 14 years.

Because every child, everywhere, deserves the chance to learn.

Why does CLA exist?

📍 In Liberia, up to 2 in 5 children between the ages of 6 and 14 are out of school.
📍 Some towns, like Bokay, went more than a decade without a single classroom.

At CLA, we believe forgotten communities deserve futures - not pity.
We are restoring access to learning, one student, one classroom, one town at a time.

The Central Leadership Academy has opened classroom doors to 1,950 learners, saved refugee families over $78,000 in school costs and reached more than 12,000 people across our community.
These aren’t just numbers - they’re futures rewritten.
